You do that in a heartbeat assuming Harden is cool with it. Houston laughs and hangs up

I don’t think they laugh if Harden demands a trade

That trade makes Houston a lot more balanced and makes their starting 5 pretty damn good if Wall gets back to being the player he once was.

Now, as for the Bucks... you have to be really certain it's not gonna **** up anything with Giannis. Otherwise you get two guys who don't seem to like each other, one of whom can leave after a year and the other of whom will certainly leave the year after that, with no future assets and no flexibility. But you might just win a title this year regardless.

I think a Middleton/Donte package gets you more than people think. But I guess I'm in the minority where I also don't think Harden's game ages all that well given how reliant he is on short-burst quickness. Always seems to get glossed over that he's 31 years old, and not nearly as cerebral as guys like Chris Paul and Lebron. Legitimate debate at this point whether he's worth bringing his toxicity into your locker room with that contract in tow.

I tend to agree with most of this though our differences are:

1. I think Middleton/Donte is a better package than people give it credit for, but I also don't think it's enough to get serious consideration from Houston.

2. I think Harden would at least be worth it in the short-term but I do agree I have some concern about how his game ages.

Is Harden actually a toxic teammate or just a toxic opponent?

Do you think the Bucks have thought of taping off a 15 foot arc(slightly shorter than H.S. 3-pt. arc for Giannis to spend considerable time "shooting around the arc" where in effect every shot is a 15-foot jump shot AND free throw at the same time? Seems like a great muscle memory drill for a guy who needs to improve both!

We're going to win it all without Harden. Only way I deal for him is if Giannis wants it or says I'm gone.

We don’t have the assets to compete with Philly or Brooklyn’s offer imo but of course you take Harden if it was remotely possible. I find his personality and style of play grating but he’s a legit top 5 player, him and Giannis compliment each other’s game and we’d be the consensus favorite for the title so too bad. Would be nice to at least be on his list like we were with AD where there was even less chance he’d get traded here.

I wonder if a 3 way trade would work.

MKE Incoming: Harden, Tucker
MKE Outgoing: Brook, Midds, Donte, DJ

HOU Incoming: Wiggins, Pashcall, DJ, Wiseman, Donte, MN Pick/GSW Pick
HOU Outgoing: Harden, Tucker

GSW Incoming: Midds, Brook
GSW Outgoing: Wiggs, Paschall, Wiseman, MN Pick/GSW pick

Capwise it checks out. I think this would be quite fair tbh. Not sure if GSW would part with both picks...might be the deal breaker.

Crazyy?

I think GS just gives MKE the boot, removes Tucker from the deal, and takes Harden for themselves.

Idk, Midds, Brook would fit GSW system much much better.

But let’s be honest here. I hate Harden as a player but he’s a significant upgrade than Middleton. A bad game for Harden is 20pts. I bad game for Midds is 7pts on 2-13 shooting, which I feel like happens often.

You could take out House, Tucker, and Wilson(negative value), and throw in Nwora, Merill, and a few 2nds, and Houston still probably wouldn't do it.
still learning the game

Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook sure didn't like the experience much.
