I’d also love to get a dynamic return specialist. Peppers has the ability to make plays as a punt returner but getting a dynamic returner would allow him to not need to be thrown back there. I swear we have had like one return get beyond the 25 yard line on kick off returns. Hell, most of the kicks we take out are lucky to get back to the 20
yeah my guess would be you go edge rusher with the 1st pick and WR in round 2 unless a big time WR drops which is a possibility. Obviously if the giants are in a position to draft a Ceedee Lamb who dropped type in round 1 for dallas you do it.
But edge rush and legit #1 WR would be and ideal scenario.
I would like a #2 type corner but yiadam has been solid.
Devonta Smith from Alabama would be amazing. We will probably be out of the Jamar Chase sweepstakes. I like a lot of WRs in this draft. It would be great if we could get an edge and WR in round 2.
My ideal situation would be edge/WR in round one and two regardless of which comes first and grab a solid CB2 in Free Agency. I think we should have a ton of money to play around with this year actually.
It would be massive to have QB, RB, top 2 WRs, both LT and RT, possibly both guard positions (if Hernandez and Lemieux can play LG and RG), and several contributors on defense all on rookie contracts. That would allow a lot of money to be pumped into impact positions.
well we wont have that much money because Nate Soldier is going to hit our books again and we are going to have to pay Leonard Williams big bucks.
You can always move around money but the Soldier dead cap is going to be annoying.
