So Giannis has signed the extension yet?
Ilyasova is still a FA

“To be honest, he’s the James Harden of the East Coast,” Gilbert Arenas said, via FOX Sports. “What James Harden is in the West, is what Giannis is there. You have a guy who’s not a point guard, who dominates the ball, and he’s playing one style. And that style is: ‘I’m gonna try to take all the big men who can’t move off the dribble, Euro step and get some dunks.’ That is amazing during the regular season, but when that court gets small you can’t do that anymore.”

Ignore the stupid takes he has on Harden and the Giannis stuff is 100% on-point.

Damn, everyone dumping on Giannis all the sudden. Get off my corner.

So with this George contract... Tobias' deal won't be looked at nearly as bad next summer when all these other dudes get their bags.

If they can't use him to get Harden now, just do the best you can this season (aka punt), and wait until the summer.

Middleton
Divicenzo
2021 1st round pick
2023 1st round pick

Upon checking bucks only used 25 and 27 firsts for Jrue. The rest were pick swaps

That deal sucks but it's also one of the better one's we've seen.

If the picks are all the same, I'm not sure if Middleton by himself is better than Dinwiddie/Levert.

Playoff Levert is the real deal. Arguably better than Middleton in the playoffs.

Donte has been a nice defensive G in the league, but we haven't seen him in a creating role yet.

I dont think the Rox value the Nets offer highly.
Dinwiddie CANT play with Wall while GMs dont like taking health risks like LeVert.

I’d put all of the ff. players on the same level/echelon.
- dinwiddie
- tobias
- levert
- tobias
- maybe even Milton, considering age and upside

I don't think the Rockets are in position to make roster decisions on who they think can play with Wall. They took Wall with a 1st rounder to dump Westbrook. I think it was purely transactional for them. I don't think they envision making him their franchise player. He might only be a 25 mpg player coming off the achilles.

Also, I think Dinwiddie can play with anyone if he just adapts his style a tad. He's a good shooter that shoots a poor percentage based on his shot selection. If he took more assisted threes, I think he easily could shoot 36-38% from three.

If they are going to get Ben, they wont think of Wall.

But if they are going to get either Tobi or Dinwiddie, they are going to think on fit with Wall.

Wall’s contract will be immovable for the next 3 seasons. Once Wall’s contract is up, dinwiddie or Lavert will be around 30 already.

Simply said if they get Ben, they will start a new era. If they get guys like Dinwiddie, they will run it like how Celts did it. Make the playoffs while materializing picks until they hit a homerun.

Thats how i’d look at it

Yea, I kinda think he was bad and it was shocking we got what we did for him. A 22 year old non-shooter that turns it over a ton is just meh to me. Glad he’s found a way to stick around in the league though.

I think we’d be bias if we think Ben at 24 with no signs of being a good FT shooter can improve his jumper while MCW at 22 with signs of being a good FT shooter can’t improve his jumper.

Honestly, yes.

Regardless of win/loss, the product was highly entertaining just for the simple fact that we had guys that could create off the dribble like Carter-Williams and Wroten. It was often times ugly due to turnovers and bad shooting that comes with young players, but it was fun to watch.

The ironic part is that I truly think we could have had something organically special with that group had Sam not started hitting the eject button. Obviously injuries played a part as well.

Have you guys checked the Giannis draft by woj?

Hawks knew Giannis was going to be special. And sounds like there were several teams who were looking to go the extra mile to draft him
- hawks, magic, OKC, bucks and raptors

Bucks didnt just get lucky. All 4 teams did their homework.

Presti even threatened Giannis’ agent for not giving him Giannis’ medical record

Sort of reminds me of Danny Ainge saying he had Draymond top 5 or whatever on his board when he passed on him 3 times in the first round...

Feels like Paul George could be a huge anchor in the later years of that contract, but I'm not sure how you do anything to avoid it either.

All these dudes are going to be huge anchors. That's pretty much anyone who signed a supermax after age 28.

That's why we just gotta do away with the cap and get rid of the hard cap. These dudes want to get paid and live like kings in their early and mid30s. That's fine, but don't ruin franchises because of it.

Adam Silver has looked good on TV but not really sure how his resume will look when he's done. F it though, HOF he goes.

Kobble taking weird shots at Hinkie should not be unexpected to anyone.
