yah I like it better

Clips-Lakers would be too much too soon
Clips have a lot of work to do under the hood first

We still haven't used our Bi-Annual exception worth $3,623,000. Can we use it or not any more since we are hard-capped ?

We can’t use it. We can’t even sign a vet minimum player because we’re hard capped.

G'luck with Tucker y'all, really liked him as a rookie with the Jazz last season, exciting guy to watch with a solid amount of potential in my estimation.

We can use it, even a portion of it, as long as we clear space under the hard cap to do so.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

Had the misfortune of listening to Keyshaun Johnson and Jay Will (whoever that is) on the radio yesterday. They we just fawning over the Lakers acquisitions and singing the praises of Harrell and said the Clippers had no acquisitions of note- not mentioning Ibaka, Kennard, or Batum. Shameful.

Sucks Jay Scrubb won’t play most of the season if at all

Fully expect to see this line-up on the floor together at some point:
PG
Kawhi
Morris/Batum
Ibaka
Zubac

The line-ups projected with Ibaka as backup C are missing how much bigger the Clips roster became.

The scrappy line-up of PB, Lou, Reggie and Kennard could get very interesting when used in specific/limited circumstances.

Agreed, no one was higher on Scrubb than me. I wonder if we can get a DPE for a two-way guy to get a third two-way slot and give someone like Ike Iroegbu another shot

he would have been unlikely to play any minutes at all, though. but i get it, a guy with potential needs to be with the team, and not away from it.

You're assuming Lue uses Doc's philosophy towards rookies.

no, i'm just assuming that a team contending for a championship is going to give the maximum minutes possible to a backcourt of paul george, patrick beverley, lou williams, luke kennard, and terrance mann over a late 2nd round pick.

There are rookies and there are rookies. At age 20, Shai became a starter here within a couple months; Jerome got more minutes than he ever earned as a Clipper, including 11 mpg in 42 games last year despite shooting a pathetic 34% from the field and 28% from 3.

Frankly, I forgot he even played for us last year!!

Point being--what young Clipper talent went on to success elsewhere? Reggie Bullock took until age 26 just to become a role player on a crap team and he's the BEST example. Sindarius got tons of minutes and he's out of the league. Ty Wallace too. This is another narrative that the numbers just don't back up.

I haven’t seen anything. The official Twitter account had a few pics and a short compilation video of the past few days. The official site had some pics in the gallery section I hadn’t seen posted anywhere.

Am still really surprised that Zhaire Smith cleared waivers AND hasn't been signed since.

he'll get a 10-day contract somewhere, still very young. But he played 143 total minutes since being drafted 2 years ago. That tells me he is not that good.
