You are wrong buddy. Assistant Director of Digital Content at Orlando Magic-Dan Savage is asking Orlando Magic head coach "question"
that literally goes:

" Last offseason, up until late July,he could barley shoot from FT line, can you see difference in his comfrot taking different shots now as he had offseson, aldo being bridged to work on his shot and shoot from different levels"

This is equivivalent of North Korea having democratic elections ... with one candidate.

We both have opinions on the matter that this question doesn't prove right or wrong. But you DO have a history of being a Fultz hater so it makes sense that you'd spin this way. Cliff isn't one to BS people around, he coaches his teams, he's not worried about selling jersey's or marketing. This is a ridiculous conversation.

Not planning to watch much of the season, only getting invested if Cole scores 20+ at some point.

I don't know. I'm just addressing why Cliff might be saying nice things about him here as we head into training camp with two rookies likely to be in the rotation.

I'm just saying it's more likely that the coach is coaching rather than deliberately doing the work of the PR department.

" Last offseason, up until late July,he could barley shoot from FT line, can you see difference in his comfrot taking different shots now as he had offseson, aldo being bridged to work on his shot and shoot from different levels"

THIS WAS QUESTION !!!
It wasn't even question, it was guy saying what he wanted and asking Clifford to comment on his statment. What a hell he could say? Nop he can't ?

Clifford THREE times in same interview kept repeating " he is better mentally now " witch is... remarkably specific word to describe somebody who had "injury" .

This felt like post draft local tv station asking rookie "question" - "isn't playing for Hornets your life long dream and aren't you happy to be here, help team, fans and community grow " ? I mean what a hell somebody could say ?

I am not here to tell you if Fultz is good or bad because I sincerely have no idea.

I will tell you that there is a very real mental condition that happens to people after serious injuries where they consciously or subconsciously have fear about reinjury that I assume when Cliff is talking about Fultz mentally he is talking about that fear.

Clifford first but parts of second interviews gave strong hinst that both Okeke and Anthony indeed are not - nba ready.
In first interview, half of the interview went on Clifford using words like "poor young guys didn't have chance" literally bridging excuses for them. In Cole in particualr he said that offense and defense at college level are night and day and that nba offense is way more soficticated than "that" ( college ball).

Hang on. I thought coaches were only supposed to gush positivity about their players, Pepe!!!!

Could it actually be that Clifford was being sincere when he praised Fultz' form, health and shooting as well as being less than effusive on Cole and Chuma's chances to start out the gate?

I realise that you and positivity are virtual strangers so you'd be naturally suspicious of it. But it seems Cliff isn't all unicorns and rainbows about his players by default so maybe when he sounds positive it's actually him being...... positive?

Yet another fascinating take...Cliff now has an interest in pushing jersey sales.

If I were the Nets I'd pull the trigger so fast on a Kyrie for Harden trade. Kyrie is an unstable injury prone headcase. Durant surely couldn't be too upset considering Harden is one of his best friends.

I think it would be a 3 team trade if Kyrie is involved. Houston wants draft picks and young players not another pg in their prime with injury problems.

I don’t believe there is a serious deal there. I fully believe Houston made that statement simply to end the talk of a deal with Brooklyn.

Basically, we would only work with what you aren’t willing to give up ... so drop it.

Golden State for Wiseman + Wiggins + 2021 Minny pick + multiple GSW FRPs is a deal which makes more sense to me if Harden adds them to the list.

It would be one thing if Clifford had said something very generic like "we expect Markelle to make shots from the perimeter" because there's nothing really tangible about that statement.

But Clifford didn't do that. He actually went into pretty detailed specifics that Fultz's actual jumper form was much different than it was last year. I just can't imagine he'd say something so specific essentially the day before we're all going to find out if he was lying or not unless he had actually seen it himself.

Can he take this exact form and extend it out? He did shoot over 46% from 16 feet out to the 3PT line.

I'm more than confident that i'm one of less than 3 people who actually watched Clifford interviews ,yet everybodyhere commenting :dontknow:

Clifford was asked questions. He didn't call press conference to tell everybody he has young Steph Curry now.
"Question" about Fultz where comment was made, that was pulled out of context - was guy who works for Orlando Magic - force feeding Clifford into saying he is better than last year. I posted "question" ( really not question, guy giving statmant, putting Clifford on spot where he can trash Fultz or just say: sure ") twice here. Yet, again, nobody really cares, because nobody saw interiew by probably me and 2 more guys.

That's why i used typical post drafting question " isn't it amazing to be drafted by XY team" where player is put in spot where he flat out can't say anything but " sure". And than media will break down news into " XY player dreams come true as he was alwaxys fan of a team"... yea... long live freedom of speach.

What's even more funny, there is video of Fultz shooting ,and it's still same ugly push shot.

Last year i talked a lot about how i find everything that happends in offseason hype, semi truths, fake "body transformations" and flat out dumb stuff. Everybody is comming together, everybody is ready to take new step, contenders are ready to go all in, tankers are ready to suprise people... It's typcal nba hype bull***t. It's such a bull**** that even Jalen Rose and Jakobe were mocking literally same thing 3 years ago. Rose was making parody of it saying "guys get matching tattoos, they are ready for allstar... than season starts and they still suck".

Look, everybody i entitled to their own opinion, fine. I spent 4 years talking how Gordon will never be plus shooter. Maybe i should rub posters in their face some sweet earned "told you so" . But meh, too old for that s***. Now here we go again, hyping 27% three point shooter. I'll just roll my eyes, shrug shoulders and move on.

"look i'm saying this all the time, people say he played highest level of college basketball, witch isn't even CLOSE to NBA (emphasizes) i mean it's not, it's not easy step. My experience have been, start, make sure they have some sucess and the'll get there...It have been tough 4 days for him but he was better today".

From 4:17 to 4:55 he literally says "he is just jumping in right here,...so it will be difficult for him and Chuma initially to be able to adjust"
I'm 100% sure nobody even listened to any of this on a board

Well ,folks even if i'm 100% wrong, we'll find out within 20-ish hours

and since everybody had thair witch-hunt about me saying coaches are hyping things up for marketing purpose, season ticket holders right now are offered to pick their seats.

Very limited number of course but fans will probably be allowed

https://www.reddit.com/r/OrlandoMagic/comments/kaq67w/i_had_a_chance_to_pick_seats_as_a_season_ticket/

``I’m going to say this: He’s so smart and he’s really working, and two months from now – he’s playing fine now, too – but (in two months) he’ll be a much, much better player,’’ the veteran coach added.
Clifford on Bamba. OMG he is ready, he is ready guys, Gobert arrived...

Still doesn't look similar to his old shot to me, looks closer to last year. First shot he has it closer to above his head, 2nd one is what he kind of has been doing which is pushing the shot and his arms are extended kinda far away from his body.

If anything his mid-range shot looks like his old three point shot.
