I tried to do this without looking at any responses. Ill go back and look after I post mine

So without further ado, let's get after it - All answers should address the Regular Season :

1) How many wins will the Heat have in the 2020-2021 season? (notice it's a 72 games season)

50

2) Will we make the playoffs this year? If yes - what seed will we be?

Yes - 3

3) Who will be our top 4 leading scorers, and what will their PPG be?

Bam Adebayo - 23.7
Jimmy Butler - 19.6
Tyler Herro - 18.3
Duncan Robinson - 15.5

(Goran a very close 5th)

4) Who will be our best overall new addition (new to the rotation)?

Precious Achiouwa

5) Who will be our best overall young player (age limit set to 25)?

Bam is going to be the best player on the team.

6) Which player will make the biggest improvement from last year?

Tyler Herro

7) Who will be the biggest disappointment?

Our lack of trade deadline moves a few months from now (changing question to what, if it was really gonna be who I'd probably say Nunn regressing)

8) What trades will we end up doing during the year (or even before the season starts)?

Going to take a wild guess and say we trade Nunn/Kelly/Iggy for some combination of Aldridge or Rudy Gay with a cap filler.

But if we go into the roster with this team, it's sticking like this.

9) What will be the biggest surprise of the season? (positive or negative or both)

Last year wasn't a fluke. We're the real deal

10) What will our board posters write about Spo once this season is over?

There will be some hate for something pretty ridiculous but Radikal will have an inspirational speech to bring us back in.

11) Predict a nice/interesting statistical nugget you can see happening with the team or a player.

We'll break the record for most 3s made

12) Predict the weirdest moment of the season.

Jae Crowder will hit a buzzer beater against us and we won't be too mad about it

13) Predict a RealGM Heat-board development you expect to see with a long time poster/s.

IggieCC learns how to merge a thread

14) What will you consider a success/failure this year?

Success will be making at least ECF

15) What will be the biggest factor to impact our success or failure this year?

Development of our young guys

16) Bonus playoff question - How far will we get in the playoffs and how will our season end?

i think the heat will, how far it depends on how strong or weak the east is this time around.50/50 that the heat could replicate what they did last year, all depends on how precious evolves as a player (as a substitute for crowder?)

also how duncan and herro will approach this season. those two are key players as well because iggy, goran, jimmy have already hit their ceiling

In case of a tie between posters that predicated the same wins total - tie breaker will be calling the correct seed we ended up as.

If it's still a tie - tie breaker becomes the prediction about top 4 leading scorers.

It's that time of the year again, time to get our hopes up before they are crushed by Iggie's jinxing.

looking at las't years thread, As a collective, we undersold the team last season...they won a lot more games then we predicted (compared to the average prediction) - both in the regular season and in the playoffs.

Also nobody saw those trades coming, or saw Iggie being so powerful to actually move NBA basketball into a Bubble.

So What season do you expect us to have?
Can we repeat last season's success?
Can bam make another jump?
Can KZ Or Precious have a big impact?

I probably can't do any worse than last year, so...

1) How many wins will the Heat have in the 2020-2021 season? (notice it's a 72 games season)

46 - 26

2) Will we make the playoffs this year? If yes - what seed will we be?

Yes, 4th seed

Milwaukee
Brooklyn
Philadelphia
Miami
Boston
Indiana
Toronto
Washington

3) Who will be our top 4 leading scorers, and what will their PPG be?

Butler 22ppg
Bam 18-19ppg
Dragic 17-18ppg
Herro 16-17ppg

4) Who will be our best overall new addition (new to the rotation)?

Avery Bradley

5) Who will be our best overall young player (age limit set to 25)?

Bam

6) Which player will make the biggest improvement from last year?

Herro

7) Who will be the biggest disappointment?

Nunn, but I think it will be because he struggles to crack the rotation with Bradley's arrival

8) What trades will we end up doing during the year (or even before the season starts)?

Either a trade for LaMarcus Aldridge or Blake Griffin

9) What will be the biggest surprise of the season? (positive or negative or both)

Whoever we end up trading for

10) What will our board posters write about Spo once this season is over?

I think he is safe for the time being

11) Predict a nice/interesting statistical nugget you can see happening with the team or a player.

3-pointers made in a season

12) Predict the weirdest moment of the season.

Covid cases forcing guys to miss time

13) Predict a RealGM Heat-board development you expect to see with a long time poster/s.

somebody going on and on about how Miami should have traded for Harden

14) What will you consider a success/failure this year?

Improvement by Herro, Bam, and Nunn, Robinson having a similar season to last year; the team being competitive regardless of where they finish and being in a position to improve the roster (or having already done so via trade)

15) What will be the biggest factor to impact our success or failure this year?

The young guys showing last year wasn't a fluke

16) Bonus playoff question - How far will we get in the playoffs and how will our season end?

ECF.

The East is going to be crazy competitive and seeding for the playoffs will give certain teams a really tough road to the Finals even if they finished high in the seedings.
