i'm bullish on simmons. i want to see them give him a chance. hard to do that while trying to compete though.

I'm really not. Don't think he has the head for the 1 and he's too slight to be a 2. But he is young and does deserve a chance. Agreed on that front.

he is more of a combo but i could see him become a schroder type 6th man as a ceiling. but on the blazers one of cj or dame is always on the court, you don't really need him for play-making.

Or National Treasure Lou Williams. Yeah, I could see that. I still think they need another proper point as insurance. They're a little forward heavy as it stands.

I'm trying to get away from the mom jokes because insulting someone's mom isn't the way to trash talk because it's them who deserve the trash talk not their mother. Mothers are awesome.....but yea, mom jokes can be compared to flat earth because both are archaic and wrong.

Spellman is pretty spry for a fat guy!

Knicks have a pretty full roster; Randle is still on the team, with Mitch/Noel/Obi and even Knox needing some time at 4.

At best, Spellman and Skal were in a battle of "15th man, 3rd C, big who can shoot" battle, with room for only 1 winner. If the Knicks even keep Spellman, which I think they should (or Skal) as either were/are Randle insurance if a trade, and would add another big besides Obi who is a bonafide outside shooter.

At least, that's what I thought they were/are doing.
