The counter argument for that is that Houston could lean for the 50/40/90 all star and the promising jack of all trades young SG in DDV and have both for 4+ years. Simmons is talented but nothing like Harden and teams may simply value shooting as they see it equating to winning basketball. To a lesser degree they may look at their current roster post-Harden and like the fit of what MKE has to offer. If they want to compete now then that very likely will be a consideration.
