Shams didn't say that.

Toppin looking good. Pretty aggressive. Definitely doesn't look like a rookie.

Definitely passing the eye test, confident, looks like he belongs out there, giving vocal direction.

God damn I would have loved Trae on this team. He was my #3 behind Luka and Ayton in 2018. In hindsight he should've been #2 at least right now, but Ayton can catch him by becoming an elite defender. But yeah, Trae is so good. Love that I have him in Dynasty and I will never trade him. Reminds me so much of Steve Nash.

Perhaps Houston could flip Harden to Milwaukee for Divincenzo and Middleton, and then redirect Middleton to another team like Brooklyn.

I actually think Middleton is a better fit than Harden on a team with Kyrie and KD - Middleton is a much better defender and can get you points off the ball.

The Pistons are weird. Why did they draft Sekou Doumbouya, only to bury him behind Blake Griffin and now Jerami Grant? But they give Killian Hayes the starting job off the bat over Derrick Rose? Both of these teams are going to be awful.

I'm excited to see Patrick Williams with all of the pre-draft hype

Josh jackson was my biggest miss I remember. I really thought he had the fire to get better.

The Pistons roster is so badly put together. I’m calling it now, the Pistons are gonna have to attach a top 5 draft choice and maybe more to get rid of Grant’s contract.

He will look solid on a team with playmakers and ball handlers and as like the #5 option. But nothing. He’s basically a Serge Ibaka type player that’s totally miscast as the #1 option.

Crazy that Denver offered him the same $$ but he wanted to go to Detroit because he wanted to be a #1 option...yeah about that...

Definitely same. Looking back though, the red flags were there. Legal issues and general dick-ishness in college. Awful shooting form and FT%. Playing as an undersized power forward on an extremely good shooting Kansas team gave him a perfect situation for his skillset to succeed.

He's really solidified my bias against do-it-all wings with questionable jump shots. They tend to be guys that clog the paint with help defenders and need the ball in their hands a lot more than their scoring efficiency and turnovers would typically dictate.

Grant's contract is a bit of an overpay, but people thought he was similar to Oubre who they thought should/would get paid more. Top 5 pick to get rid of? No way. It's a tradable contract but they have no reason to trade him

I'm curious about them, because of Hayes. I also wanted to see how Josh Jackson did, but not good. 2-8 for 4 points with 5 fouls and 3 turnovers.

Yeah, I remember liking Reddish before the college season but I couldn't get on board with him or Barrett last year due to that.

It's funny watching Knicks fans on their forum. They all still love Frank Ntilikina, who hasn't particularly been good at all. They really were high on Barrett. They all hated Trae (and ended up with Knox)....they all hated Toppin. Most of their opinions are largely driven by a previous mod who is now a scout working for Seth Cohen (Cam Johnson and Desmond Bane's agent).

Yeah Barrett is one of those guys to me. He needs the ball in his hands to impact the game because he's not a good off-ball player, shooter, or defender; but he also doesn't have the scoring effiency or playmaking to warrant that role right now.

Josh Jackson was definitely my biggest miss too. I was over the moon abt his athleticism and thought he could put his jumpshot together. He really sold himself as a smart, high character kid, but the situation where he dented some girl's car in college should have been what sent me packing the other way. JJ taught me a lot about what I do wrong when I look at players going into the draft

Thunder rookies playing well. Hopefully it continues since they are on my dynasty squad.
