They were given the option and decided to go through with it.

That is just crazy to me. Literally insane IMO

Yeah all I can think is they went through the testing they're here to play ball and it's maybe what keyonte as a leader and best player on the team would have wanted them to do. Something along those lines. Prayers up for that young man above all else though

Feel terrible for Keyontae. Really hope it is just some strange anomaly or something that can easily be resolved.

Scottie pulling this over Scottie who's a legit NBA-level defender already is highly impressive

I have a sinking feeling this is going to become more common with covid-induced myocarditis.

Saw them crowd him a lot today I'm guessing to try and test the looseness of his handle but once he turns the corner his strides and strength make it hard to recover. Times he was given space forced to beat defenders to a spot is the time where the handle was available to pick. Teams need to see that and adjust. Not enough room for a head of steam but don't crowd him either.

Moses Moody is one of the youngest players in this draft class. If his wingspan is really 7'1", he's looking like a top 5 pick through the first 5 games.

16.2ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.8apg, 1.4spg, 0.4bpg, 47.1 FG%. 40.0% from 3 (1.6/4.0 3's per game), 86.2% from FT, 27.0mpg, 1.0tpg in 5 wins.

Moses is one of my faves. Bonafide plug and play right now in the league. At worst he's a Bruce Bowen, Raja Bell type. Could be a Duncan Robinson JJ Redick type with great defense. Perfect situation he's Klay all over again. Needs to quicken that release a bit.

He’s moved ahead of Boston and Clarke for me.

Marcus wrote:Not sure how Barnes' value can even be debated. League wide from best to worst, teams can use a Scottie Barnes. Ball handling, passing, switchable defender, good size with a frame to add onto, smart, assertive, passionate, and plays hard. You'd never draft him to be a focal point or say go get me a bucket to. But if send him out there and just let him play you're going to get positives out of what he does give you on the floor. Position be damned.

Reminds me of Antoine Walker..

The exact opposite.

Walker was a ball-dominant gunner. A talented one, but still with a me first-attitude.

Barnes seems the exact opposite: a special, very versatile, premium complementary player.

They have not had a ton of practice time, etc. from what I understand. It's harder to be a Freshman this year. I'd wait for 10 or so games before passing judgement on the Kentucky or Tennessee prospects.

Yeah a young JR with the Nuggets came to mind as well.

Moody and Young however have vastly different games.

NBA Nick Young and USC Nick Young were an almost 180.. in college he was a shooter, defender, scrappy wing player.. we saw what he became in the pros.. but Moody does look alot like USC Nick young to *me* I like him as a guard prospect though and think he can be what Young wouldve become on a better franchise than those wizards

I never got a good impression of young Nick Young. I remember hearing him being interviewed at USC, and he said - even then - that his goal was to be a Hollywood celebrity. And I thought he was pretty much a 1 dimensional scorer back then. Moody's stats indicate he's a better all-around prospect than Young, imo.
