Thabo making game threads just seems right.

Surprised Maledon is making the trip. With no Baze/Horford/J Jackson, we're going to see a lot of Muscala, Leaf, and Poku.

I said when I watched Theo’s highlights I didn’t see the lack of athleticism. I stand by that. He looks really good.

Raw but I see the ability. I didn’t see anything that discouraged me but I’m not holding him to very high standards his first year. What did you think?

I missed the first half so no thoughts yet. Glad to hear it. :)

He made a nice floater. He had a really dumb shot on a fast break. Showed some ball handling skills and brought the ball up court. He just seems like he needs good coaching. The sample size was pretty small on him. Maledon definitely looks like he knows what he’s doing.

You're right. Theo is smooth.

Edit: and then he immediately turned it over. Heh.

He’s as smooth as poku is most.

I'm not quite sure what this means, but I agree.

It's really unfortunate Poku doesn't get a normal summer league, full offseason/training camp heading into his rookie season. Kid is incredibly raw and has made a bunch of face palm inducing plays already. Would've been nice if he could go to the G League for a bit, but no chance we send him down to Atlanta.

Spurs announcers just kind of chuckle when he does anything.

Lost. Not most. Stupid autocorrect.

Ya I really hope we don’t shatter his confidence before we get a chance to teach him how to play.

Early days, but his confidence levels seem to be more Hezonja levels than rookie Sabonis. I'm betting he's been told not to worry about mistakes at this point, especially since we seem to be putting the ball in his hands a fair amount. The positive thing is you can tell he has decent handles/skillset for his size.

But Maledon I'm all the way in on already, his vision has been really impressive.
