We miss talent. We miss mental strenght. We dont miss LaMelo. There is a lot difference.

Are you watching the game right now? It’s on NBATV. The guy is setting people up left and right. Not just flash plays either although he’s had a couple already.

Yep, Lamelo looks really fast with the ball, and he's making meh NBA players look good. His passes are giving players and extra half second to move. God, how our current roster could have used him.

I think you are going to see Kelley Oubre blossom w the Dubs and their system. His athleticism will pop in the free flow game and the court will be wide open because of Curry.

There will be plenty of guys in 2021 draft miles better than LaMelo available to us too choose at his position. Be patient, my padawan.

Quite the opposite. Next years draft is all wings and forwards.

Cade (admittedly watched one OSU game) has some of LaMelos feel and basic setup but LaMelo already appears to be on a different level as a setup guy. Cade obviously has other strengths.

All things considered, this draft seems solid via eye test. Of course a lot of guys won’t see regular time in season, but a lot of NBA-worthy rookies. Poku for example, he doesn’t look like some long-shot project; skinny as hell, but he makes great entry passes, handles the ball, rebounds and defends. Lot of guards lighting it up tonight. Vassell (3D) and Okoro (slasher/D) bringing what was expected, generally good IQ.

Edwards looks NBA-ready. Not sure how good he’ll be this year, but his development is in MIN’s hands. I don’t like the Wolves roster.

On another note, Morant is the absolute goods.

First of all, nice pass. Second of all, completely unnecessary mustard on the hotdog. Make things as easy as possible.

I dont think many rookies will start initially compared to other years. No summer league, only a few preseason games. So I would expect most of them to come off the bench when the season starts.

A decent cut of LaMelo's plays. I wish someone would have done this for PWill. All I could find are the same couple of shots he made.

Generally agree. Still more rookies to watch. Wiseman. OO. Deni.

As for Morant... most electrifying player in the league. My fav player right now.

Ball was showing some superstar flare - Just unteachable stuff.

Well he’s certainly got superstar handles and feel. But yeah, without a half-reliable jump shot or drawing FTs, it’s hard seeing him affect the win-column.

Okoro with 16 points in the 4th plus the game winner.

Boxscores tend to be misleading in preseason considering starters are going at half-speed and scrubs play big minutes. I remember Wade Baldwin had a monster preseason then completely disappeared once the regular season started.

dude hit 2-4 three pointers, where'd that come from? Takes his stock to a different level if he's got those in his bag

Ball reminds of a lot of rookie Rubio.

A ton of these players are constantly improving and you cannot peg them simply from this past season. They never got a deep tourney run to show off improvements.

I thought Campazzo looked fantastic. He's tiny, but was such a pest on defense people were scared to dribble around him. He had like 5 deflections.

Look, if we are a lotto team this next year, and we can draft Cade of Suggs, I will be thrilled. Either one of those players will transform the Bulls. But right now, it would likely require the top pick to get Cade, and top 5 pick to get Suggs, maybe top 2 by the time of the draft. So yes, there are riches to be had, but it's not that likely that we will be in that situation. The lottery odds could help or hurt us. Aside from those two, there's no pg in next year's class I'd rather have as much as Lamelo.
