I get wanting to see what you have with rookies but the fact we have no wing depth with any experience is troubling. I have no idea how we score. Tatum is gonna get blitzed all the time. Who is gonna create offense right now.

Anyways. I'm seeing a mid seed in East. If Kemna is healthy and right in playoffs we can beat anyone in a series but we may really struggle in the regular season.

My view is the complete opposite. They will make the finals barring injuries to key players. (I've already baked Kemba's knee into my prediction.) There is nothing in the preseason basketball I've watched that would change my mind. I've never seen so much bad basketball. Maybe it's the early start, or something in the water.

What is the rationale? Who is gonna play on the wing outside Tatum and Brown. Whose gonna facilitate and create? Where are we gonna get pts with Kemba out and a defense that blitzes Tatum? Remember when Toronto box and 1d Kemba and others had to create. Offense was tough to come by

It's just the beginning of the Season. We haven't even played a game yet.
We made the ECF, a few months ago. Now we've replaced 4 guys.

I know that we have had some injuries. But, it's early on. And we have enough guys to hold us.

Everyone from last season has gotten the experience.
So, we'll see what we have, shortly.

Nothing is given."

If ESPN is right that Smart is a top-40 player in the league, then:

-- That's great!
-- He really needs to start.
-- His next contract is apt to be VERY expensive.

He has a good chance with covid and injuries. He's kind of an early Leon Powe type player. I was surprised to find out his real height. Hopefully he comes in with a 3 or good enough perimeter defense. Right now, it's tough to slot him into a role with his current skill set

Jaylen was killing guys with his new up-fake near the basket...then he stopped doing it later in the season/playoffs....needs to get back to that move.

I haven’t watched preseason games yet but can’t wait to see our rookies this week. I’m over on the GB, I’m seeing that Malachi Flynn is ROY and a man among boys. Theo Maledon the steal of the draft. Poku is a cornerstone of the next dynasty. Next it will be Desmond Bane is the GOAT.

Let’s see what happens when the games start to mean something and the plastic people melt. I like the guys I mentioned above and wish them the best, but also have high hopes that Nesmith and “Ace” Pritchard can contribute some meaningful minutes this season.

19 year-olds can still continue to grow. I am not surprised.

I think they need to chop off Pritchard's hand if they want to keep him off the court. Dislocated finger is nothing.

If we take a finger or 2 we can add to Tatum and get him to 7 ft

The obvious question here is: how do you know?

He was 6'8" in shoes when he got drafted. Then he was 6'8" without shoes a year or so later. Then more recently JT himself said on social media that he was 6'10" in shoes and 6'9" without shoes. And now there are a crap ton of tweets saying he's now listed at 6'10" per Brad.

I wasn't necessarily expecting him to keep growing but at the same time it's not impossible to believe. And here we are.

My guess is Tatum is near 6'9 without, but many still use the shoes inclusion. So 6'10 is not a reach.. who cares either way.. just play big!
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Tatum was doing that move too. Pretty sure they picked that up from LeVert who prominently uses the same move. It's a nice thing to have in the bag, but can be neautralized if the defense is prepared.
