As a second round pick then a good bench guy or even starter is great great value.

Is how I feel about Kuz. Everyone hates on him but miss the context of his draft position. A contributor to a championship team is a home run for both the team drafting him that low and the player. I say.

Any player on the Lakers or Knicks with a pulse under 23 gets insanely overhyped.

I remember when Lonzo Ball was supposed to be the next Magic Johnson and Kuzma was going to be an All Star.

that reverse layup around Zubac was so sick. his finishes are fun to watch. hopefully he can get more lift and balance when going up as he hones his body

But as someone who used to hype up Xavier Henry, Kendall Marshall, Andrew Goudelock (my beloved namesake), Darrius Morris, and basically every other young Lakers guy with some potential, I've learned to temper expectations.

It's legit. THT has already surpassed all those players with what he has shown on the court.

Nope. Speak for yourself.

Caruso started a game in the finals and locked down premier guards throughout the playoffs.

THT has a long way to go. He looks promising and was getting to his spots in the preseason game but couldn't finish.

He's not taking rotation mins off Caruso, KCP, Schroder, Matthews etc. He's only likely to play very marginal minutes unless there's injuries.

Caruso is a better player than THT right now but THT's ceiling is definitely higher. He will pass him. Just a matter of time.

No. We get pretty hyped about players over 23 too.

AD will be generational talent.
LeBron will be multi-generational talent.
Schroder will be top 2 6MOY,
and Trez will be 6MOY.

In fact, Vogel should be COY and
Pelinka should be EOY.
Jeannie should be OwnerOY.

Did I leave anyone else out?

I'll say this much, he's got an extremely weird body. Short, heavy set, freaky long arms.

He’s earned to be part of bench rotation .

I think the praise being given is in reference to being a rookie and being compared to other rookies in the league. No one in their right mind could possibly think he will impact a game this year.

It's not a fluke. This guy is very good. Has nuance to his game and can defend and finish and playmake. This kid will be very good this year, and I'm not ready to put a ceiling on what he'll be capable of in the coming years. His physical dimensions and functional athleticism make him very intriguing on offense and defense.

Agree. He is an exciting player.

Ever time he touches the ball, I expect something good or explosive to happen.

First... He's not a rookie...
Oh, he's clearly going to get minutes off the bench, and he's clearly going to be a factor in some big games... What he's doing isn't just shooting or something that can go away... He's really fundamentally sound and he's in control. And right now he doesn't have the benefit of LeBron and AD playing. There are times when he's the focus of the offense and thus the focus of the defense, and he's going right at PG, Kawhi, Ibaka and Beverley... I know they're in preseason mode, but still... It's impressive.
