We are going to need R.Williams to turn into Deandre Jordan now. Like, this season. He needs to be a force down low defensively, and above the rim offensively.

I have always believed this to be a reasonable ceiling for RW. Just defend and PNR with dunks like DJ.. needs to get that chance.. and I mean really get that chance.

With two putative starters plus a third putative rotation player missing the start of the season, and a bunch of other guys being very young, perhaps Brad should simplify lineup ideas as:

Theis/RobWill
GrantWill
Tatum
Brown
Smart/Teague

plus everybody is competing for the backup minutes behind Brown/Tatum/Grant.

Maybe Teague and Tremont can push Smart's minutes more into the 2/wing slot.
Carsen and Jevonte should get every chance to show that they can play.
Maybe Semi can hit some shots.
Maybe the rookies can play very soon.
Etc.

Early-season minutes are there to be taken.

I really wanted Langford to be healthy and get an oppotunity. I think the kid still has very good potential and prototypical size for a SG. Too bad he's been hurt so often.

Btw, this season will have a lots of "IFS" and "BUTs" in it. With COVID still looming it seems even seedings might be affected by it(if the season goes through successfully)

I don’t know about having a very good potential for langford. He plays slow and soft. More like a softer rodney hood, if i have to compare him to somebody. He just doesn’t have that burst of speed that usually good guards have. Maybe he could bulk up a little and have a stronger body when he gets back.

I didn't realize CBS had a top 100 ranking also. It's not totally fresh, since Hayward is on there as a Celtic.

Tacko couldn’t play 30 minutes. He would foul out in about 18 minutes or pass out from exhaustion
