Still the same problem tho. Transition defense was horrible. Pick and roll/switch defense was bad. The team can run and shoot all they want but this defense tonight was not that good

Not good compared to last year is completely different. They looked night and day better than last year even if the defense wasn't good yesterday.

I have a saying, if there are a group of girls and all of them are ugly but your friend dates the pretty ugly one, it still makes her ugly

Hmm. Warrior fan. Ohhhkay

8-)

Remember this. Game is on film. The more things they find wrong, the easier it will be to fix because
the coaches can see the errors. You can't hide or deny when it's on film.

Lots of new Hawks. I believe that every player available got to play. We've not even had all players available.
Time is in our favor. But, it's running out - - fast. Just three more games. Rust and chemistry.

Indeed. He needs to increase his strength. As of now, he'd struggle to guard Tatum, Siakam, J Butler, and other wings with bulk and muscle.

But he's a natural defender. Getting him with that Mavs pick is looking pretty good.

Ya also I’ve noticed his inability to grasp the ball. He either has a fantastic grip on the dribble where he does that 360 spin or he just bobbles it when he’s gathering. Was hoping he worked on that this summer but I haven’t seen noticeably stronger hands just yet.

I had his hands as questionable and it was one of the areas I didn't think was easy to improve for Cam.

That said, our defense was much better against Orlando the 2nd time around. Especially Bogi and Capela.

It's the little things that won't necessarily show up in the stat sheets that will also help the defense. Lots of communication required.

Chemistry is key.
I don't think our locker room has had great chemistry in a very long time. I hope I'm wrong.
