Ae and wiseman probably have better physical tools than anyone in this draft outside of Mobley.

Jalen Green might have something to say about that

He is the only one left that gives me hope about this class. Him and Cade look nice. Cade had a good game today, would find highlights and post soon

Yea he might but I need to see him outside of hs. But the point still stands, ae and wiseman have elite physical tools.

I'd rather have top picks in 2022, but who knows, maybe that one too is overrated, but one thing for sure is this draft is not as good as people say, I'd say that the top 2 maybe 3 prospects in 2021 is better than top guys in 2020 but it's actually not by much and the 2020 guys were wayyy more NBA ready than guys in this 2021 draft. Guys in this draft need almost 3 years+ to even demand significant minute sin the NBA I think, unless you are Cade and Jalen Green/Suggs maybe

Yeah, I find it hard to take you seriously when you make judgements like that, especially this early in the process. Nothing is ‘for sure’, and we have no idea yet how these players will progress over the course of the season (where do you think Okoro and Williams ranked at this point last year?) and which older players will rise on the draft boards (these guys should be more NBA ready due to age alone). We also have no idea how NBA ready the 2020 guys really are yet. So there's a lot of opinion you seem to want to sell as a foregone conclusion and something obvious. It's not.

First of all, we haven't even seen two players who are generally regarded as top 5 prospects in Green and Kuminga. The other two guys almost universally considered top 5 prospects, Cade and Mobley, are absolutely crushing it thus far. Barnes we have only seen once (!), and he's ranked 5th in RSCI. Jalen Suggs has shown that he absolutely has the potential to be worthy of a top 5 pick. Josh Christopher has been really good. So how exactly has this draft class already, after a couple games and with those guys performing really well or not having performed yet at all, proven to be overrated? Because some top 10 ranked prospects (Boston, Clarke, Ziaire) have struggled? Happens every single year. It seems to me like there is a strong confirmation bias at play here.

It's too early to hype this draft up as a generational one, but it's also way too early to declare it overrated when so far we've seen top-prospects either performing extremely well or not/hardly at all yet.

ShayDee wrote:Yea I was going to say some stuff but wait till after the game but I've watched alot of Jalen Johnson after his first monster game and he looks like a completely different player. Like very other top freshman prospect in this draft, he is just raw right now, like I'm very surprised how raw these players are. I mean it's understandable since they just came out of highschool, but every one was touting this as the next great almighty draft, comparing it to the 2018 draft, which is just wayy off

I think Johnson is suited for a back up 4 role in the NBA, he is a good man defender, but his offball awareness is not that good and his offensive game is not ready at the moment

Evan Mobley is a no brainer and Don't sleep on Jonathan Kuminga who is going the G league route like Jalen Green.

I am also still intrigued by BJ Boston, Ziaire Williams, Scottie Barnes, Greg Brown and Terrance Clarke.

Kispert was a player alot of us were targeting with our 2020 2nd rounders. He stayed in college and is absolutely beasting after 3 games against good competition. Probably a mid-late first rounder at this point.

Moses Moody could be an attractive target for us depending on where our picks land.

My favorite part is @ 1:48 where he jumps to jam a lob. The pass is off line. While in the air, he adjusted to catch it, and spins backwards for a layup.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

I just know we are gonna get a great piece to add to Klay coming back.

Biggest question is who stays between Oubre and Wiggins. Can’t keep both I don’t think

I want Mobley with the Minny pick. I have enough of short and untalented centers. And I want twin towers! 48 minutes of useful center minutes.

Me too. There are a bunch of guys in this draft to like. But as Curry and Thompson and Green get older, the idea of having a young star who can play support for a few years, then lead the team after that.....I think it would extend everyone's useful careers.

I don’t see why not..I bet you Lacob , Chalmath and maybe some of the other partners have at least doubled their wealth since the start of the pandemic..they’re just rolling in it and THEY LOVE warriors basketball and winning on a

So if we keep our own pick, I’m lookin hard at Ron Jarper Junior. Dude does a ton of good things out there, including shooting the three.

So I saw a comparison of Green to Zach Lavine. Bouncy, can score a ton. But not a winner.

I keep seeing this talk about top prospects and my brain still jumps to "I want the Warriors to pick last in the 1st, none of these guys are going to be there" ... and then I remember the Wolves gave us their pick and I smile.

#4 pick please Wolves :)
