Bless your heart. The biggest announcement in the last ~40 years of Bucks basketball and you're too busy minding after your own ego instead of just joining in the fun.
100% yes and if you know anything about my posting styIe this IS me joining in on the fun

It'd be lovely if, on this most glorious of days, the original Bucks board Europhile was welcomed back with open arms.

I bet all those insiders are fuming now, not getting any sort of info. Well done on both parties keeping this discreet and decent.

You going to attempt to "both sides" this thing to deflect from the downright embarrassing criticisms of Giannis' character, loyalty, and basketball ability over the last couple weeks. Cool cool cool cool cool.

Re: Giannis SIGNS
There has been a lot of tension around these parts lately since, I'm assuming you all (like me), were nitpicking everything out of hoping our favorite team had done enough to convince Giannis to stay. Now that is taken care of, hopefully we can go back to analyzing Jon Horst's player option fetish or wondering about whether Rashad Vaughn was drafted 3 years too early.

Re: Giannis SIGNS
I could not believe that they made the Holiday deal without knowing Giannis was signing. I just could not wrap my head around that possibility.
Of course this isnt proof of that either way, but I'm choosing to believe they knew it all along. And that has always been the most logical explanation.
I have no idea why he waited this long to announce it, and I don't really care.
Just glad it's over and they can go win the whole damn thing.

So why is it it ok to speculate and criticize the character of other players on this board?

Is anybody else you’re worried about his body language in that first week. Very concerning to me.

Did you try and break the news and Voodoo stole your shine or something? Why so serious? There were plenty of times for both optimism and pessimism the last month or so. I never claimed to be Joe Cool in the pressure cooker I guess.... I’m crazy excited he’s back and locked up long term but I still stand firm that if that deadline passed and he didn’t sign, he would’ve been traded before Xmas Day if it were up to me. It’s hard to apologize for not wanting the franchise to essentially play high stakes Russian roulette with only 1 clear chamber in these circumstances.
Remaining optimistic throughout this whole process, even into next offseason until he officially left is a far cry expectation for a fan base like the Bucks. Thinking that’s plausible is more irrational than any of the crazy **** ppl have said the last 3 weeks. Lol. Dragging this out for this long also seems insanely unnecessary just to say “hey guys it’s over, I’m baaaaack”. Right?
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis

a) put all of this contract stuff behind him
and
b) realize that he himself needs to take the next step.
The time for demanding more help over has to be over. This team's ultimate success is going to mostly fall on the improvements he's either able to make or not able to make.
Again, its up to the organization to surround THE MVP OF THE ENTIRE LEAGUE with proper fitting complimentary pieces, and coaches to put those pieces in the right places. Giannis doesn't need to "take the next step" hes at the freaking pinnacle! He just needs to carry the regular season excellence into the post season.
