Re: Knicks - Cavs PG
That 2nd half of the 4th quarter was an early Christmas present for me. It's all I, and the vast majority of us, have wanted for so many years now. Just play the kids and commit to that.

Re: Knicks - Cavs PG
If I defend Frank because he has gotten inconsistent minutes.. do I need to defend Knox too because he hasn't gotten consistent minutes.
These top 10 draft picks AT LEAST need to get fcking minutes before we can call them a bust right?

Re: Knicks - Cavs PG
If this game isn't proof that Payton and DSJ should be buried at the end of the bench, idk what is.
Mitch redeemed himself but he plays like a bum more often than not. Needs to raise his BBIQ big time or his value will fall off a cliff with his garbage fouls.
Speaking of IQ...if he finished some easy looks, his numbers would be insane. Great performance.
Knox being aggressive is his only hope in the NBA. The game doesn't really "come to him", and he forces more often than not. Needs that controlled aggression like we just saw in the 4th.
We really may be the worst team in basketball, folks.

Who needs Jalen Suggs when you've got quick? Playoffs here we come!!!

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!

it's not even that quickley is that great, it's that he's an actual threat from deep so he balances the lineup.

Oh also props to MSG producers, didn't see empty seats nearly as much as we did in the pistons games. Didn't feel as weird.

Glad I didn't turn off the game. Had a lot of fun watching the 4th are. Thibs, that's the lineup the fans want you to play.
We want development and chemistry over anything else.

Re: Knicks - Cavs PG
I’ll be the first to admit I hated the Quickley pick initially. Some alcohol and some of my favorites on the board definitely made things worse
That being said loved how he played. Missed shots he’ll make most nights but distributed the ball wall, penetrated, and played his heart out. I love seeing guys like that so I’ll support the hell out of the kid.
Loved seeing the kids bring them back after the “vets” were beyond brutal. I’m glad I continued to watch because that first 3 quarters of Payton/DSJ at the point rotation was some of the excruciating sh*t I’ve seen

If we want to be competitive, I still say we gotta go with the vets,
IQ needs more minutes at point,
Obi is probably more of a team player than I ever imagined, somebody taught him well

not sure. but someone else pointed it out:
knox may just underperform having to deal with payton and randle running the show.
with guys his age and geared more towards his style of basketball, he may feel more loose, and able to just play rather than think about playing
