Randle was great in that he was leading the youth of the bench.

If you listen closely, you can hear the sound of DSJ's minutes flying out the window

Shame, really. We traded for him, put the pressure of being the centerpiece of a deal for our All Star, then never properly developed or supported him.

I don’t care about who they were playing. It was still a good experience for the young guys.

I’d rather they win 12 games with this final unit and having learning pains even if it means losing by 30 with players that will be here beyond this season than win 20 games with a whole bunch of losers that have no future here

Because I'm pretty sure in the NBA it's impossible to bench veterans. That has to be the only answer.. the minutes veterans get is reflective of how much money they're getting paid and what kind of media attention they draw locally and nationally. Seriously.. it has nothing to do with basketball.

You think any other teams fan bases are looking at quickley tonight and wondering how they let him go, just like every other fan base does towards the Knicks when someone we didn’t draft has a good night?

Gotta give DSJ some credit tonight. His defense was really good and what started our run back into the game.

That was a total 4th quarter effort. We played hard defensively. The ball was moving, players were cutting and we were making shots. We also had some fast break points. The Quickly, RJ, Knox, Obi, Mitch lineup looked great. Hopefully Thibs plays that unit together more often.

Mitch really stepped up as well. He just needs to be smarter with his fouls

90% of our problems get fixed if we get a PG...

This is why the FO wanted Chris Paul he’d have inflated our players value

But you also have to get rid of Randle because he takes away from a good point guard. Randle actively brings the value down on some players.. a point guard would be one of them.

Disagree

a good PG makes Randle better, Randle is only bad when he has the ball in his hands, if he’s getting set up properly, you maximize his value

DSJ was never the centerpiece of that trade, the centerpiece was cap space they failed miserably to use..besides having Luka, Dallas couldn’t wait to get rid of DSJ, in fact if you remember his attitude was so bad they sent him home

Personally I think it was weird he wasn’t projected higher in the draft. With how valued 3&D types are now. And his shooting splits were insane and add that he played at a high level for a top school. It’s not like he’s a bad kid either.
