I’d rather they win 12 games with this final unit and having learning pains even if it means losing by 30 with players that will be here beyond this season than win 20 games with a whole bunch of losers that have no future here

Because I'm pretty sure in the NBA it's impossible to bench veterans. That has to be the only answer.. the minutes veterans get is reflective of how much money they're getting paid and what kind of media attention they draw locally and nationally. Seriously.. it has nothing to do with basketball.

Some of us keep saying it but people just wanna yell.

It’s contract obligations.

When players get paid a certain amount of money than other players...it is what it is.

Just gotta wait it out for the players to dip.

I don’t see the big deal in waiting we suck & we’re rebuilding. Randle, etc got one year left.

Takeover about to happen.

Clyde in the first half: Why does everyone hate Randle?

Clyde in the second half: Ah, I get it

I know he gets killed on this forum, but honest question -- does anyone believe in Dennis Smith any more? He doesn't look like he can get by his man or make even a basic decision. He had some good steals but otherwise looked about as good as the white boy from Texas Tech (not good).

Imagine if we traded for Chris Paul or Signed FVV and the traded for Buddy

Chris Paul Or FVV/Quickley
Buddy/Rivers
RJ
Toppin/Knox
Mitch/Noel

This is a team that would have been fun to watch.

Randle gets too much hate on here...

I see his improvement under Thibs, he’s looking to pass out of the post much more and playing better defense...

It’s a process, but I see good things from him too

Poor Randle. Wanted to be the first option and all star. First year, gets usurped by Morris. Second year, usurped by RJ.

Right. At the end of the day those same G Leaguers were shooting lights out against our starters.

Dennis is not a PG and has a low IQ but if he focuses on D, you’ll get the best DSJr possible

Never had a doubt that he would improve!!!!

About 18 ppg. Anyone think that's about where he'll be this season?

Definitely and If he continues to improve his ft shooting I can see 20ppg being realistic.

He’s definitely lost burst and explosiveness. I think absolute best case for DSJ is to be a decent scoring combo off bench.

Anyone else notice RJ quietly putting up nice free throw percentages this preseason? It’s a small sample size but if this continues...

Worth noting that Obi wasn’t great defending and had some lapses but he fit into that defensive lineup without being a sieve. He’s active on that end.
