Epitome of safe pick there. That kid is gonna translate at least to role player. The Zags are stacked, innit?

I started looking at some of the Euro prospects that some sites have mocked in that range last night. Did not like.

Safe but transformative. In a vacuum he has a high floor and maybe not a high ceiling. But the fact is, within the concept of team building, a pick like Kispert will further unlock the potential in RJ, Obi, and Mitch by giving them more room to operate by spacing the floor with high level shooting. We need a sniper on the wing bad.

Our pick: Jalen Suggs
Mavs pick: Corey Kispert
Pistons 2nd: Scottie Lewis
Hornets 2nd: Sandro Mamukelashvili

I have such a hard time seeing Lewis not getting into the 1st round. A wing with his athleticism, defensive game and burgeoning shot? Hell I'm not sure why he isn't in the late teens for most people. He's still got plenty of work to do, but he already looks like a useful rotational piece with the potential to become a highend complementary starter.

Depending on where the Dallas pick lands, he ultimately might be a guy to move _up_ for. 3-D with potential for an expanded game.

Don't get me wrong, I'm hoping everyone keeps sleeping on the kid so that we can move up for him with the Pistons & Hornets SRPs

But yeah, I won't be surprised (or complain) if we have to use the Mavs pick on him...especially if we get our lead ball-handler with our pick.

well now that we're all set at PG look out jalen green or bj boston or kuminga or moody

other than that I look for the knicks to perhaps target mobley, the longer the season goes that mitch doesn't solidify himself as starting center, and the more mobley continues to prove he can be a stretch big by making 3s, the more confident I'll be that they'll be taking a good look at him because that's the kind of player you need to stretch the floor with guys like toppin and rj

I'm still not convinced hes a C. How is he gonna bang with Jokic, Towns?

I think there's a good chance hes a PF ala Garnett and LMA

I still think its a 3 player draft.

I dont like looking at HS tape, its too much of a joke to use it to evaluate Kuminga.

Lol I mean......Cade can play SF. He’s taller than RJ.
Nothing wrong with RJ & Cade being our playmakers. Better than RJ & Julius.

Need Kuminga in the tier with Green & Suggs or at the very least Mobley. He’s simply a beast and been putting up better g league numbers than Green

I think if Mobley can bulk up enough ala a KP that he'll be fine banging with those guys. Even Bam isn't a thick boii like those two and does just fine. IMO Mobley reminds me a lot of Bosh but with the three ball he developed in Miami. I don't watch high school tape either cuz the competition is just so weak a lot of the time but I'm not gonna write off Kuminga just yet. In both of the G League scrimmages he actually had better stat lines than Green did. He kinda reminds me a little of RJ in a sense that he's already closer to a man's body already compared to someone like Green who's like 180 pounds still.

I think if you look at what a prototypical modern 5 is, look at the mold of anthony davis, it's someone who can shoot 3s, rim run/catch lobs, block shots, and maybe a good passer, you don't necessarily have to worry about if they have a good post game or can bang with Drummond or whatever because those types of centers are becoming more and more rare. just my opinion

Mobley looks like the perfect modern 5 to me. Moves really well, can protect the rim, switch onto wings, finish lobs, shoot the 3 and what I love most about his game is his passing. Kid's like if Chris Bosh came up watching Jokic. I'll be really surprised if somebody doesn't take him in the top 3...even with how good Suggs has looked this season.

Agreed, in terms of talent he's tops IMO . I think this will be at least a 6 man draft if we are talking about likely stars and superstars.

Two more steals, a legal crossover layup, another three, a rebound, and another dime. Lol
