Do we really think these numbers are indicative of anything? I don't, pretty sure Khris will still be one of the best shooters on the planet, and the others will follow suit.

I think these numbers are more than indicative that a majority of our “shooters” are far below league average and the last two seasons would back that assessment up.

I mean we know Khris, Forbes, Jrue, & Pat are better than those numbers indicate. Also Giannis & DDV should be better than those numbers too

Next summer Merrill will be showing Lasry texts from Balmer about offshore accounts for him, his friends & family. *3x post edit.

Your certainty is misplaced. Working out & being in his best shape has set Khris back mentally. He's thinking like gym rat Giannis & everyone will regress to KOBE jacking up hero shots.

But for Sam Merrill carrying everyone with 35ppg on .70 ts%, .545 from 3. He'll become frustrated watching everyone else brick shot after shot, to the 8th seed.

Falling to the 1st seed Nets narrowly in a game 7 shoot out between KD & GOAT Merrill.

Sam will request a meeting with Lasry in the off-season about retooling or making it his final year in Milwaukee.

So is there any ability to upgrade this roster? What's the timeline, and options look like?

Khris and Forbes (and Merrill) are our only “shooters” and that’s a huge issue. Pat might be better than 17% but he’s still a poor shooter at his peak. Everyone else is at or below league average. Not just in preseason, but last season as well

EDIT: didn’t want to forget Sam. People are higher on him than that crackhead who lives by the Y

I'm not going to get worked up over shooting percentages for 3 preseason games. Nor will I get worked up if we get off to a slow start this season.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Forbes is a career .400 shooter from three. Augustin is a career .379 and shot .402 over the last three seasons. Middleton has a career mark of .392 and shot .415 last year.

The Bucks may not be loaded with .400 shooters at every position, but there are definitely some elite shooters on the team along with many solid shooters. The numbers you posted are meaningless compared to the track record we have from actual games.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit worried, with such a big roster overhaul, and lack of training camp. While I'm hoping they'll flip a switch, I'm expecting a slow start. Hopefully Bud will be able to figure out some successful rotations

Only reasons I'm concerned for the start of the year is Bud playing like 11-12 guys because he feels like he has to play everybody, giving us a ton of garbage play from guys like Pat and Forbes. And from his interviews sounds like he's still gonna focus on drilling the drop scheme and won't start experimenting more until later.

We could honestly look pretty good if he rolled with an 8-9 man rotation and was flexible defensively from the get go, but neither will happen.
