yeah cade being a 6'8" point forward lead ball handler type is sort of perfect for a combo point like IQ. having said that, i'm keeping this draft out of mind for the first half of the season. i want to root for my boys to win

Any win that comes at the hands of RJ, Mitch, Obi, Immanuel... Kevin... and, to an even lesser extent, Frank/Dennis are acceptable. Any other contributions to winning and we all lose...

i said i want to root for my boys, not the carcass of steve mills' free agency savvy

Re-watching the game from a Cav's feed (in bits, where I can) and in the 3rd quarter ML Carr was just going on about Kevin Knox.

Then he talked with the other announcer, about how young players are drafted, Knox played his entire rookie year at 19 years old.

ML Carr "Well, you can see he's hit 21, knocked the cobwebs out of his head, ready to be an NBA player"

You could always pay most of Payton’s salary and see if someone would take him. Prolly not lol.

Not worth giving up a pick.

No one, obviously. But we should be able to include him on trades to make money match, if we have the opportunity.

But I'm fine with just cutting him :D

Politics will apply. Thibs damn sure sounded like he would be in the discussion. Either way Indiana will be trying to disrupt him, let’s see what happens.

He's most likely getting cut at some point. The only trade we can make will include Randle most likely and no team will take both.
