Lonzo and Zion running pick and rolls then Ingram doing his ISO. JJ running off ball stuffs.

Right now, based on what I saw on our team, we’re just as good as the Pacers.
Our team was missing our best player who happens to play the same position as the Pacer that shredded us. We'll be fine
The nets look good. The question is can that team take the toll of a full season? Particularly Kyrie.
They have probably the deepest roster in the league with the most talented duo.
They do not have the most talented duo. The champs clearly do. I agree that they are quite deep but it's the pairing that is truly scary to me. This is a leaguewide thought, Spencer Dinwiddie is the danger for the Sixers.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

Think about this: The Nets have been making the playoffs for a couple of years now with their B duo of Dinwiddie/LeVert. Now they just added two hall of famers as their A duo ontop of the very solid B duo they already had in place. Their depth and talent is staggering.

If Nets are as good as we think they can be. We have a chance to beat them if we trade Harden for Ben, then Maxey and Milton prove their preseason performance is not a fluke.

Harden, Maxey, Milton in the creation core is very promising. I'd like to add to that and bring in Rose or Williams at the deadline.

ISO Kyrie 2019-2020: 1.06ppp
ISO Durant 2018-2019: 1.06ppp
ISO Harden 2019-2020: 1.12ppp
POST Embiid 2019-2020: 1.12ppp
^ in terms of shot creation they not that far from one another
You just have to bridge the firepower gap of
LeVert-Dinwiddie with Milton-Tobi.
Maxey could be the X Factor.
But still, overall, I still think Nets have the edge but we got way better chance.

Only way to bridge the gap is if Maxey gives us Jordan Clarkson numbers as a rookie and we add another creator at the deadline.

I think the Nets for sure make the finals. Not impressed with their competition in the east

Cole Anthony vs. LaMelo Ball tonight. Could be a RotY battle.

Jazz are in a bad situation now with this Gobert thing. They should have traded him seasons ago.
If I could turn back the time. A good trade might be Warriors 2nd overall and Wiggins for Gobert.

I still can't believe the Jazz wasted a first round pick on Azubuike. Shades of the Tony Bradley selection.

Re: Around the League: 2020 Offseason
I know Lamelo is still nowhere as good as Ben. But give it a season or two. When LaMelo develops into a good shooter, who knows..
That’s what I’m saying. There’s a “Ben replacement” in the draft for every 3-5 years. You may not get someone as unique as Ben but you can get someone as good. And most of the time, better fit than Embiid. Who knows.. Maybe Maxey can be that guy.
We have to change our beliefs with newer information. Who cares if we think Ben was better than Donovan Mitchell before. The important thing is we correct our beliefs.

Re: Around the League: 2020 Offseason
There's at least two players in every draft since Ben entered the league that are already better than him. Of course there's going to be a couple of guys in the 2020 draft better than him.

Why is Marc Stein tweeting like 50 things about this Jeremy Lin G League thing. Just sign him to your G League team when he clears who cares...

Lonzo Ball with 19/5/8/2/1 64% from the field 50% from 3
His little brother in the league and thriving is only gonna push him to go harder.
MIP candidate

Pretty much what we all thought about the Clippers last year, until you know, we didn’t. Not every talented player is a leader and not every guy that was top dog on a gritty team wants or is willing to become a role player.

If he straightens that shot out he’ll be better for sure.
always a jump shot away.

I think the Clippers would have won the title had the season not tailspun into a bubble situation where 85% of the league didn't want to play.
