After two preseason games hw goes from being one of the best defensive players in the league on the brink of an offensive leap and superstardom that we shouldn’t get rid of to a player who has two players entering the league better than him every year?

Amin El Hassan says Ja Morant is who De'Aaron Fox thinks he is?

Are you taking Zion and/or Ja Morant over Ben after just one season?

Of course.

Look at Zion's scoring numbers.

And is there anyone out there that would actually rather have Simmons running their offense over Ja Morant? Ja Morant can actually score of the dribble and break down defenders. Morant can get to the free throw line and drill his freebies. He's a player that actually makes sense on the ball.

Yikes.

Big overpay. But Utah had to do it, and it keeps their window open should Mitchell make the leap to a top 10 player.

They're screwed IMO. They don't have enough in their creation core and Gobert is nearly unplayable in the playoffs. And obviously he's untradeable. Outside of Mitchell falling in their laps, their personnel moves are pretty garbage. Utah is lowkey a terrible organization.

Could not disagree more.

UTA is an excellent franchise and consistent playoff team that drafts well and competes without the advantages of the more glamorous teams.

NY is trash. LAC has been trash most of its existence, ATL can’t fill its arena even when it’s a good team.

Utah drafts well? Other than robbing the Nuggets on draft night and trading for the rights to Donovan Mitchell, they've been a draft night trainwreck for basically a decade straight. They just took Azubuike!

Twice. Gobert was a decent robbery too and he also was selected with a Denver pick.
Besides those, the Nuggets drafted well

A team that lowkey drafted well? The lakers.

Ingram, Randle, Ball and DLo with their lottery. Then Clarkson and Kuzma with their late first or second round.

They may not be special but the thought process shows you they know talent. They prioritized multi positional play, shooting and offense.

It looks like you might be able to add Talen Horton-Tucker to that list as well. You could also add Zubac and Thomas Bryant as starter material players.

Wow. Looking at those rosters...

Vuc
Isaac
Ross
Fultz

All locked up 3+ years.

With Anthony/Bacon/Fornier/Okeke/Bamba off the bench.

They need another scoring guard.

Looking at Charlotte, they need another athletic wing.

Rozier for Gordon makes a lot of sense for both. Slide Terry in next to Fultz. Takes some pressure off him. Allows Cole to grow off the bench.

Gordon slides into Charlotte and joins PJ, Bridges, Ball, Graham...solid.

None of these extensions make sense/cents. It only makes sense/cents when you consider they're all bad so in actuality they're all okay because they're all bad. If that makes sense/cents.

Get it?

Every signing makes Tobias' contract more and more tradable.

I notice the Bulls didn't lock up Markkanen. I'd like him on the Sixers.

I still want Lavine from the Bulls. Def think there's a chance he gets disgruntled and asks for a trade by next offseason. They'll have to oblige since he'll only have 1 year left on his deal and will be able to walk as a UFA.

But I'd certainly like Lauri if we could replace Tobias with him.

I mean Grant is getting paid 20+M. Tobias is a bargain.
