I kind of figured the coaching staff comes and goes more along the head coach lines, rather than ownership. I wonder how safe DL and Quin are with the new owner?

I don't know and wouldn't want to speculate, but personally, at this point I've seen enough of DL. He's not a bad GM, but we can do better.

So... what line you like best? Also what do you think about Jazz' line?

I think the Jazz line is fair, right at 50 wins for an 82 game season. You know what, **** it. The Jazz are finally going to have a good regular season. 48 wins for the Jazz this season!

I think OKC under is a good bet... I like Warriors under... I like Mavs over

I like the Jazz over too if Mitchell and Gobert stay healthy...

So, we're projected to do slightly worse this upcoming season as compared to last season?

I wouldn't mind seeing Lebron win 5 championships, but not at the expense of the Jazz of course. So I was just taking a look at Lebron's career minutes. I couldn't find a list that combined regular season minutes with playoff minutes, so I added them up for Kobe, Lebron and Malone, and here's what I got: Kobe 57,278 mins, Lebron 59,362 mins and Malone 62,759 mins. And Lebron leads all players in playoff minutes --- games where nobody takes a play off. Kareem is still way up there at an impressive 66,297 total mins, but I think Kareem's longevity got a big boost by height and being planted in the paint.

I hope Lebron has another healthy season, but he is definitely at high risk for decline or injuries based on cumulative minutes. Good news for Lebron is that his team has more scoring punch than last season with the additions of Schroder and Harrell, and Kuzma is expected to play a bit bigger role in the offense as well. There are fewer regular season games this season too, so Lebron should be able to get in more load management.

Isn't Justin Zanik our GM now? Since last year?

It's the same thing, really. I usually call them DLZ (the notorious DLZ!) but I think DL is still essentially calling the shots. Zanik got promoted to alleviate some of the workload after DL got promoted.

I think the Jazz pull 47+ wins. They're a good regular-season team. They'll defend and score buckets every night.

I think the Jazz missed an opportunity by signing Ferrell. A lot of other players were waved, whom the Jazz could find more value in.

Kaminsky (was picked up by the Suns), Dzanan Musa, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Courtney Lee (which GobertReport wanted), Gerald Green, Henry Ellenson, TJ Leaf, Admiral Schofield, to name a few.

RHJ is a better rebounder, but Shaq a better 3pt shooter, otherwise, these guys are a wash statistically.

Is Yogi going to the GL team? Do the Jazz still have a roster spot open?

Exum had an injury today, hopefully not the Achilles. Poor guy can't catch a break.

Unbelievable, poor guy, injuries have kept him from becoming anything close to what he was projected. Feel badly for him and wish a quick recovery. Wonder what his mental state must be after so many injuries.

Really bizarre stats fluke: currently all 4 top West team have W/L ratio on the road better than at home.

Shaq had some things to say about Gobert's contract. Gobert says there is no beef. I tend to side with Shaq on this one, I don't think Gobert could have stopped him, Shaq would just manhandle him with his size and strength.

Sorry to day, Gobert would have had no chance against a Shaq in his prime......

That's a wild trade:
