For Tobias straight up? You take the risk. If they ask for picks is when the hesitation starts.

Easy for us to say because we dont have skin in the game.

Morey and Glenn don’t have any skin in, either. It’s Elton who (rightfully) takes the beating.

Keep it simple: Simmons/Harris/Korkmaz for Harden/Gordon/Tucker

Harden(34)/Gordon(14)
Curry(24)/Milton(18)/Gordon(6)
Green(24)/Thybulle(24)
Tucker(32)/Scott(16)
Embiid(30)/Howard(18)

Harden/Gordon/Maxey
Curry/Milton/Joe
Green/Thybulle/Ferguson
Tucker/Scott
Embiid/Howard/Bradley/Poirer
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Watford/Barlow/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome

Rehashing the CJ/Tobias idea... After 2 preseason games I'd be pretty comfortable giving up Thybulle in that swap.

Make a follow-up for Tucker (T.E., 2nd rounders?)

Simmons | CJ | Green | Tucker | Embiid
Shake | Curry | Korkmaz | Scott | Howard

Would look better if you could undo the Curry/Richardson deal.

That very tiny window that can only be seen by a microscope has closed IMO once they acquired Roco.

No matter what Dame and CJ present issues trying to play them together defensively.

I think a Dame | Trent Jr | Covington | Harris | Nurkic lineup looks pretty damn good if Trent can keep up play from the bubble. Simons, Thybulle, Hood, Jones Jr, Melo, Collins, Kanter off the bench seems pretty solid as well.

Maybe try and flip some of that depth for a veteran backup PG like George Hill.

In real life I don't think they trade away Dame's buddy, but this is a fantasy trade thread after all.

Hmm..

I think Blazers is firm with their belief of building around 2 high scoring perimeter guards. Like a poor man’s version of the Warriors.

A team like the Blazers see Tobi as a 3rd option. So they wouldnt want to trade CJ for Tobi.

The teams you should go to get a high return for Tobi are those teams stuck in mediocrity or the teams with a big cap space that is now useless after PG, Gobert and Giannis signed their extensions.

If like for instance, I’m a team like the Bulls, I’d rather have Tobi than Oladipo. Better fit and less injury risk.

All these teams may have high value on Tobi given their cap space and who are the FAs for 2021.

If any of those teams will part with a large expiring deal that can't also help for the year (Fournier, DeRozan, Porter) I'm game.

The Spurs are an interesting landing spot with their depth of guard/wings.

Mills/DeRozan for Harris+something (Thybulle) is a deal I'd love. Mills is what we wish Curry was. DeRozan can be an elite 6th man that can close games for us. (Yet another deal where I wish we could undo the Curry trade)

Hell yeah, get DeRozan in here on the final year of his deal. He doesn't defend or space the floor, but he's nearly unguardable off the dribble. Give him the greenest light imaginable and bring him off our bench to dominate second units.

Not instead of a Harden trade, though. Have it as a follow up move.

Trade Simmons for Harden.

Then make the Harris for DeRozan swap afterwards to add additional firepower.

Embiid + Harden, DeRozan, Milton, Maxey

Milton/Maxey
Harden/Mills
Green/Derozan
Gay/RHJ
Embiid/Howard

would be an incredible team to be rolling into the playoffs with

If Harden falls through, I'd be interested in getting involved with a Kyle Lowry trade. I think the Raptors are going to decline this year and they'll make a decision to tank the rest of the season. They have no real shot at making noise in the playoffs, but they have a nice foundation for the next run at it. Would probably need a third team to get the contracts right.

CHI gets Simmons, Scott, Curry, McCaw, and S.Johnson
PHI gets Markkanen, LaVine, Satoransky, Young, Lowry, and 2021 CHI 1st
TOR gets Harris, Thybulle, 2021 NYK 2nd, and 2021 PHI 1st

Lowry/Satoransky/Maxey
LaVine/Milton/Joe/Mathis*
Green/Korkmaz/Ferguson
Markkanen/Young/Poirier/Reed*
Embiid/Howard/Bradley

I would want to have an agreement with Lowry on a 2-40 extension before pulling the trigger.

Damn.. yeah i never thought of that. That will be one heck of a team.

Short term..

Harden/Maxey
Derozan/Milton
3&D SF
3&D PF
Embiid/D12

Just need to fill those.

Green maybe can start at SF? Then sign ilyasova?

And lol at folks being so obsessed with getting rid of a 20 POINTS PER GAME SCORER (Harris) that they'd rather have any old crap in the SF and PF positions...smh thank God none of you are involved with the sixers :D .

One trade that makes sense imo is Matisse for John Collins. Collins is gonna be a free agent next summer but we'd have his bird rights and he's a good young player who can still grow. Add Collins to Simmons, Green, Harris and Embiid and our starting five would be the best it's been since we had Butler imo.

That would be amazing, doubt it happens though.
