I hope that JI will do whatever he has to towards staying healthy and better his abilities as his career progresses. Hopefully everything will pay off long term for him and the Magic.

I honestly think it is a big mistake, why not wait for another year to see if he is fully healthy then give him an extension?

I like it.

It's all about Jonathan Issac staying healthy. If he's healthy, this extension is a great deal.

Issac's offense was also starting to look better before he got injured.

Good to have him locked up.

Hopefully sooner. It’s obvious he knows he won’t be here long-term. Could be coincidence but he just sold his house.

That's a lot of money tied up in a fragile body, so I expect his rehab to be even slower and more thorough this time around, maybe not even for the start of next season.

But if he can come back healthy, that's a DPOTY signing for $20M a year, which is a bargain. Even if his offense doesn't develop further. So overall, great signing.
