I'm torn. The guy still had to show he can run a team, his shot hasn't came back. Too many question marks for such money. On the other hand maybe they have reasons to be optimistic about his break out. We'll see.

If he can stay healthy, this is great value for the team. Curious if the last year is an option or not.

It appears that the Magic are showing they're confident in Fultz's recovery and abilities to getting better long term. I hope the payment is worth the investment.

glad it was 3 years, that covers both sides, If he takes off he can still get a raise, if he's average, it's only 3 years.

Good deal for both sides. Orlando has its starting PG locked in through post-rebuild.

Fultz has a shorter deal that allows him to go MAX if he emerges as an All-star.

Great contract. That's very easy for him to outplay the value of, but still a very moveable size if he plateaus from here.

This isn't the sizeable kind of contract that might set a window for the franchise, but - does it nod towards a roadmap for the future in anyway?

Depending on whether the Fultz and Isaac extensions are frontloaded or not, it puts the teams salary at around $120million for next season for 12 players (if they just let Evan, Ennis and Birch walk for nothing).

It's nice that we have a franchise that extends players now. I'm pretty sure it hasn't happened since Dwight. I think this will attract free agents to come here.
