I mentioned the Mullins-resemblance in form several times already. Although at the risk of stereotyping, most lefties with a smooth stroke look very similar. If Jessup can become even a poverty man's version of Mullins as a shooter, he can help this team. Heck, if he can shoot and be just an adequate defender he could be a major player on our second unit right now!

Dare I say, he would look pretty decent in our 1st unit right now if he was an adequate defender. He understands perpetual motion off the ball, which is what Klay's MO is all about. That sort of player we know, fits with Steph and Draymond. The threat of him in the corner is also there, you can't leave him open because he looks like he's going to be a dead eye from range at the very least. It' also the shot release point with Colonel Jessup, he releases it up high above his head, meaning he'll get that shot off with confidence over the top of people.

With Mannion also looking like a good backup PG for the future, and Jimmy Wiseguy, what a draft we just had.

Jessup is our new baby faced assassin, that shoots like Mullin and moves like Klay.

Regular season in NBL expected to be wrapped up in May. Ahead of their Finals. So I don’t expect the Warriors to try and buy him out. I think he plays it out in Australia for the full season.

However, I’d be pumped if he got here sooner.

Right now Jessup is shooting upside down..he’s going have to relearn how to shoot right side up..

I also like Wesson. He had the highest standing reach of any prospect at the combine at 9'3.5", he was by far the best shooting big, the 4th longest wingspan at 7'3.5". Wesson's comp was Nikola Vucevic but Wesson was mostly better.

Check out their per40 numbers for their last year:

https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/nikola-vucevic-1.html

I want to see more from him so I hope he's the one who gets the 2-way, because he's EASILY the best shooting big we've got (assuming he stays).

There wasn't much, but with such a condensed pre-season I'm not surprised. I just love the amount of work he put in and his game. Not a super explosive athlete but a banger who can really shoot is an interesting piece.

Well schooled ballplayer. The first play they analyze was a nice surprise. Nice high screen and nice pass. Looks like he could play the DWest role on offense.

Jessup, Wiseman and Pachall is a nice young foundation. Imagine if Nico develops his shooting and the incoming Minny pick.

Of course this could change if they get cancelled or postponed.
