They took a gamble and he’s been alright for them. Will he ever live up to the #1 pick status? No way. Still, another example of how the 2nd draft can pay dividends for a team.

I wonder what team goes after Lauri. OKC NOP can easily get him with assets to spare and decent young fits on the roster. Maybe DAL or SAC or MEM?

Or maybe this is all part of a grander salary cap scheme to maximize space
