It might make us better. Bonga at the 4 could really help us defend and switch 1-4. A team led by Westbrook is probably better with 4 perimeter players and a C anyways. Will have some really good spacing.

Really depends on what Brooks wants to do.

10 games for pink eye?

I just have to laugh. The Wiz crack medical staff 2.0.

Let's go smallballpalooza -- Russ plus shooters only

Russ Neto Brown
Beal Brown
Matthews Bonga Brown
Bertans Bertans Brown
Bryant Lopez
In Rizzo we trust

Apparently, EKC is a very contagious virus, so hopefully everyone around him has been tested. It generally lasts only 1 to 3 weeks and doesn't leave any after-effects. That's according to "the internet".

Every year it seems there's a phantom injury during training camp

Oh no what are we going to do without our PF who doesn’t defend, rebound, shoot well, pass or get blocks. What a disaster!

Yeah, I’m not a Rui fan, either.

Rui can't catch a break with the fluke injuries.

Last year, he got kicked in the nads and missed a month. Now, he gets pink eye.

Pink eye also happens to be a symptom of CoVid for 1 to 3% of those that get it- hopefully it's just pink eye.

He’ll probably only play in max 60 or so games now.

Could have possibly turned into a bigger infection not only that but it's very easily transmittable infection. Don't want the entire team going down.

Nothing spreads like pink eye so I'm glad that no one else got it

The usual pink eye is not a 3 week illness. The viral version must be more serious.

So, who's going to start at PF? Wagner would be the obvious choice, but that didn't work out, although it's not clear why. He still might be better than the alternatives.

Gill. Let's find out if he's an NBA quality player. I doubt it. Maybe then we can cut him.

Bertans. No, we need him coming off the bench.

Bonga. If it's not Wagner, than he seems to the most logical. But he's not much of a rebounder, and will get pushed around.

We should just cut him and save the money. Clearly, he's not an NBA player...

I'd prefer trading him for a ham sandwich

Is this finally the year we break the curse of Lez Boulez?

In all my years of following this team, I do not recall a player beating, much less obliterating the expected time table for a return.

Apparently he is still out for a couple weeks, but hopefully it’s atleast a little bit sooner than anticipated. Need a big jump from Rui this year to hopefully eliminate some of the potential dumb lineup combos by Scott Brooks

Aye aye sir. This is crucial. Get Rui to play many minutes with the 2nd unit as PF, move to Troy to SG and make midget ball disappear once and for all....And then, we woke up from a nice dream into reality where Brooks carried one playing his favorite micro-ball bull**** :banghead:

Speaking of line-ups. One thing I don't understand is not starting Bertans next to Westbrook. I mean that would completely open the floor for Westbrook, right?
