This is probably a good comp for Bridges market next year.

Sent from my SM-G986U using RealGM mobile app

I'd be surprised if Bridges didn't get a bit more than that.

Though I was originally thinking that was $16 million a year and not $18. Raptor had OG ranked at a little less than $16 million market value and Bridges at about $20.6. They undershot OG by a couple million +. Not sure if they are under on Bridges or not. I thought that was pretty close to value...though it may depend on how he develops...if he becomes more like a Paul George or Kawhi light.

Lakers have got to be feeling pretty good about the Kuzma extension.

Wonder if the league will suspend him for 25 games or if violence like that isn't as frowned upon as extra clear pee

If he wasn't rich and somewhat famous what would the sentence have been?

It would have been a hell of a lot different.

From experience with both felonies and plea deals (Which is what he took), Usually the DA will offer up a Plea Deal if there are multiple charges and they want one to stick without the hassle of actually making the case in court. They will have you plead guilty to the biggest charge and will be willing to drop the other charges, while also providing a more lenient guide to the structure of the sentencing.

For him they (For some weird reason) went the opposite route. Instead of asking him to plead guilty to the felony charge and dropping the lessor charges, they had him plea guilty to the smallest charge (Threat of Violence) and dropped the biggest charge (Felony Drug Charge for possession of 1.8 lbs of Marijuana).

They also were willing to delay his sentence fulfillment.

Any jail time or home confinement handed down will not be longer than 120 days and will be delayed until the end of the 2020-21 season

So yeah, him being a multi-millionaire athlete definitely changed how the District Attorney approached this case.

This is kind of ridiculous. Is this coach Malone or the league office?

This makes me think of sasquatch Bob's post on the GB that was pretty popular that some ways is taking away some enjoyment of the game for many. I kind of think in ways it started out more exciting, but has gone overboard with SO many 3s, like more than half of all shots for a number of teams, and then the constant driving and on both shots, the flopping for fouls.

I do miss having a little more strategy of when to shoot 2s or play a little post, even though those have proven to be more effective shots.

I was recently thinking it might be interesting to make 3s worth 2.5 and how that would impact things.

Warriors look so out of synch and almost as if they are playing without strategy.

Steve Kerr actually coaching out there or just encouraging players to play hard?

This is a global issue, but I feel that in America celebrities, with connections anyways or extreme wealth, get away with anything.... not just celebrities... pretty much anyone who can influence decision makers through financial manner can get away with everything.

Like none of them would go in jail, assuming they have powerful partners in position of power... again, its a global issue but America it seems like its not subtle.

Kerr should let the players coach like that one time when he did it against us.

I HATE that the headlines say "threats of violence", only to dig deeper to learn that this was domestic abuse. This is domestic violence and not just random threats of violence. It is ridiculous that this is being brushed over.
Im normally not a fan of cancel culture, but I hope fans demand the NBA come down hard on Beasley. This type of behavior should not be propogated, let alone endorsed to the tune of millions per year, by a league that supposedly aspires to be a beacon for social justice. Screw this dude

Wiseman thinks he's Giannis out there.. but looking erratic and out of control... usually a problem with young wings, but a 7 footer playing out of control trying to dribble a length of the court... is a concern.

Yeah this game is making it look like the Nets are a finals team or the warriors are shooting for the #1 pick again.

Joking aside its nice to see Nash on the sidelines. Nets look like they've got a ton of chemistry already.

Warriors tanking again...they actually look like the Suns of 2017-2018... no synch, players playing isolation and for themselves.... no strategy and poor team work.

Agreed Wiseman hasn't looked particularly good. Kind of to be expected considering how long its been since he played in a game that mattered.

Warriors roster just isn't a fit for Kerr's desired style of play, especially without Klay. Curry is still really good, but guys like Wiggins and Oubre are ball pounders that stifle ball movement. They don't help the Curry-Wiseman pick and roll much either considering their mediocre shooting. They'll probably look a bit better when Wiggins and Oubre don't both lay an egg and they're not playing the Nets though.

Wiseman has looked okay. I like that he's aggressive offensively, but he's looked like more of a plodder than I expected.

It's pathetic and disgusting that powerful and wealthy people can subvert the system of justice that is in place for 99% of the citizens. There needs to be a massive overhaul of the system in place but I dont think anyone is willing to touch that or change this.

Yeah those warriors are really showing us what their system and culture can bring to the players the Suns RUINED.

Oubre 3-14, 0-6 3PT
Chriss 12 minutes in a 26 point loss

It's almost as if, Draymond, that when you have a healthy Klay, Curry, and KD, anyone could look good, including the "coach".

(Yes, I know it's just one game, but there was a lot of shade thrown around in the off-season, so...)
