Ayton didn’t look great either on defense his first year. If he can figure it out am sure Wiseman can.

Darn would have loved to see Wiseman grow with RJ and IQ.

I think Wiseman is way better as a rim protector than Rookie Ayton. But that foot speed though.. ion know if Wiseman can really improve that much in that aspect. Hopefully he can though. He’s not terrible but he looked slower than I expected

Imagine we got Cade, IQ, RJ, Wiseman. Smh

Mitch is better than Wiseman.

Mitch gotta be better than Nerlens first.

He's a player though. At his best he's a decent secondary playmaker at his worst he's a 50/50 decision maker. And as pressure ratchets up he makes even worse decisions.

What I'm saying is is that they don't have one natural playmaker other than Batum. How you going to win a championship like that?

2021 first round draft pick to New York
New York has the right to swap its 2021 1st round pick for the L.A. Clippers' 2021 1st round pick protected for selections 1-4 (if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyable, then the L.A. Clippers' obligation to New York will be extinguished) [L.A. Clippers-New York-Washington, 2/6/2020]

Meh the protection kills any hype

No wonder he had his best ever season next to advanced ball handler like Westbrook

Maybe they’ll be the worst team in the nba but drop to 5th in the lottery. The mavs will win 1st in the lottery, and the Knicks will make the playoffs and do the pick swap to wind up with 1 and 5

Lonzo all day everyday and twice on Sunday, and I'm well aware of his flaws.

How much would you make the Warriors give up in a Wiggins for Randle swap? I’m thinking two unprotected 1st round picks minimum.

It's more than that, in all likelihood. It's a completely unpalatable contract. At the very least you'd be looking at something like both GSW (unprotected) and MIN (owned via trade) in 2021, and also 2023 unprotected.

You're talking about taking on $75M AND the worse player. I did rough research around draft time, and I believe it was found that the 2nd overall pick in the NBA draft had a net value of around $25M. It's a really, really, really difficult situation to actually balance out (Wiggins for Randle) with picks alone.
