What if the Clippers are just mentally screwed from the Denver series and will never recover from it.

There's your first half hot take.

Kawhi sees an easy bucket whenever Wes is on him.

It would be nice if Lebron could start looking a bit older with the short break and all

Batum was a sneaky good get for the Clips.

Nets kept every single one of their good players and KD looks better than ever.
Kyrie might not be enough to sage this up.

Am I the only one who would trade MPJ for Harden in a heartbeat (assuming the reports are true that Denver WON'T do it)?

Jokic/Muz/Harden is no joke.

But who in the actual **** thinks 10 years from now: "You know whose voice we really need screeching across our nation's TV screens? Ed Davis!"

Listen, I would 100% watch Tony Snell for his hot takes.

On a two man announcer team he probably shines, but in a 4-5 person panel he'd probably end up being invisible.

This might be a side effect of their collapse last postseason. People will swing too much in the other direction after hyping them last year.

Kawhi did not forget how to play basketball. They still have a lot of talent (in some areas better talent too than last year). I would not underestimate them.

The really needed an upgrade at point guard. Might be their only weakness but it's a pretty dramatic one. Rondo would've been huge for them.

Patrick Beverley is an excellent player. You don't need a guy who averages 15 with the other guys on the roster.

They desperately need a creator/playmaker to help run an offense from that position.

He has. Definitely mailed it in for the Hornets once he got paid. But I think his role on the Clips will suit him.

Not really - their forwards can run the offense.

It's the 2020 version of Jabari for Lillard. "I wouldn't do it; they're about equal as great scorers who don't defend, but Michael Porter Jabari is younger and bigger, so that makes him more of a rare commodity."

I would have traded MPJ for Harden instantly.

Again, modern Drew Gooden vibes. Dumb as a brick. Can’t guard any position. Selfish offensively.

I'm surprised how many others are dubious of Porter, thought I was in the small minority. His future health scares me and I also don't trust his mindset (although he might just be young/immature).

I'd absolutely flip him soon for a star. Harden is a little tricky though because they probably need some assurance he would not pout and at least consider staying in two years. Otherwise maybe they save the Porter bullet for the next guy.

I'm sure the media will similarly say the regular season doesn't matter if the Bucks or Clippers or some other team they're skeptical of lays an egg too.

I 100% would flip MPJ while his value is perceived high, but if I were Denver, I'd be exploring what I can get aside from Harden. I do not think that is a good fit for that young team.

Wow, that's encapsulates what's been nagging me about MPJ.

Perfect guy to include in a trade to bring in a disgruntled blue chipper.
