I said the same thing about us when we played the Nets. I need to see GS against a real team to accurately judge how bad they are. Lol.

KD and Kyrie is on a mission. They are out to prove their doubters wrong. Health would be the only factor for them. They have a solid bench as is. Well balanced team. Plus they have 2 of the best shot makers in the league. It will be pretty hard to stop them.

What? LeVert, Shamet, Prince, Allen, Green is a damn good bench. Allen and LeVert would start for us.

Correct on both points.

Yuhp. Dude is happy to be in Brooklyn.. Wasn't happy here. It sucks because him and Tatum would be insane right now. Sucks so bad that he didn't want to be here. Sigh. :(

We just got unlucky. Kyrie has been scapegoated. Hayward has been scapegoated. But I think ultimately it was just a roster on different timelines and bad luck with injuries.

Bunch of young kids who wanted to prove themselves for their second contract mixed with stars who wanted to maintain their status.

Then injuries to Hayward and Kyrie left the door open for chemistry problems to happen cause the young kids ended up going all the way to the ECF without them (in a very weak East that year).

Then the next year Hayward was a shell of himself + JT wasn’t ready yet to be a duo with Kyrie and needed another year or two to be what we’re seeing now with Kyrie and KD which led to Kyrie looking for the door.

Especially since the collective NBA/Boston media decided to blame him just cause he’s a weirdo off the court.

It was an unfortunate situation for everyone and I’m just glad at least we can move on and still have 2 studs in JT and Brown that should take another leap in the next two years.

PG 3 is so strange to me. The dude is so talented and makes things look so easy. Like one of the smoothest players in the game but just disappears way too much.

I don't like Harden. His style is frustrating to watch. He has disappointed in playoffs for sure. I think one of the biggest issues is the reliance on him way too much over the season. Dude gets worn down and in playoffs you can adjust so much to take things away. He needs to change up the style of play for him to have a shot.

That's a weird gamble when you have Nets spread against Warriors available. Nets will blow out many teams, their offense is simply insane.

Warriors are going to be horrible this year. Green is overrated, not sure how good Wiggins is either. Curry is the only legit player on that team.

Cannot say I feel bad for them though because of all the good fortune they had for several years.

Trade thread was locked before I could suggest Season's Greetings (in the obvious double meaning) as the title for the next one.

Maybe Oubre becomes avaiable at the deadline

Oubre would be a great pickup, but he is an unrestricted free agent after this season and would be hard to retain.
