I was ready to drop Kira for him, but saw you snagged him like 10 minutes before i could. He has played GREAT for the Knicks and might end up as their starting PG for the season. He should be getting plenty of minutes and just like you said, he isnt one of those weak-ass PG's that they have on the roster. He is a great pick-up. Once again a Kentucky Guard who flew under the radar in college looks to make an impact in the league.

It's funny, all those PGs were top 10 picks. Knicks fans still love French Frank. It's the weirdest thing..a long time I've seen a fanbase hang onto really liking a guy who hasn't done anything. Especially one that is usually quick to turn on guys.

Kentucky Guards no matter where they were drafted >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Top 10 drafted guards from other schools.

Brandon Knight, Archie Goodwin and Tyler Ulis beg to differ. As do the Harrison twins.

Dynasty: Bertans is available for a prospect or 2nd round pick (swap for my 3rd or 4th).

edit: If offering pick, attach to a player of your choice (scrub). Looking to move him very soon.

Good morning my fellow managers.

The league starts tomorrow. As you are all experienced managers, I do not have to remind you to put your players from BN positions into the lineup.

Picked up Maxi Kleber in dynasty. Hopefully with KP out and Powell recovering from injury, they give him plenty of burn early on. I could use the blocks and he’s an elite shooter for a big man.

Hope Bertans works out for you. With the news coming out about Hachimura being out, Bertans has a good chance to assert himself in that starting spot just like last year. He is their best compliment to Westbrook (also their best PF lol) and was a TERRIFIC player for me. I just felt now was the time to move him as I picked up Kyle Anderson so I might as well get something for Bertans if Anderson can be a low level fantasy starter.

Didn't quite expect Deni to be the player coming back, but I hope to keep him long term as it looks like the Wizards really like him. I am fortunate to be in a position where Trae Young is young enough for keeping him to be a viable option.

I might look back and regret dropping him. I snagged Crowder off the wire last week and basically chose him over Maxi as my in the lineup 9th man. I wanted to be able to roster 3 high upside young dudes (Okoro, Hunter, Quickley) in hopes I find a keeper with future top 50 potential.

Yeah, I had the same strategy, and have vets in all starting spots with Hayes, Maledon and Poku as my rookies. I think they all have very wide ranges as outcomes. I feel that way about Okoro too...he did have that one great quarter scoring and it will be interesting to see if he gets those types of points and 3s. He is a great defender but I think that has the big impact on the game that may not reflect in that stats all the times as I don't recall him getting a lot of blocks and steals. Hunter is deep on the depth chart but will get solid minutes, and hit some 3s..not sure what else. Quickley is probably your biggest wildcard and I think can contribute in more categories..I feel PGs and bigs are more important at impacting the games....of course oddly enough my team and core is full of wings who were important picks early after Westbrook and Gobert, picking up Middleton, Porter and LeVert in the first draft...and then traded those first to for Jokic, losing blocks and a lot with Westbrook, who I expected a decline from. Smart (also received in trade) was better than I expected though. Dejounte Murray has to improve a lot this year and I also kept Reddish over Duncan Robinson and TJH Jr, who may not contribute as much as the latter and DR is more of a 1 cat guy.

I think Reddish is ahead of Hunter for sure and probably Huerter in the rotation but has higher upside with his defense, and possible all around game if he can just fix that FG% and hit 3s.

Yeah I know you said you were happy to give him away, but I don't like one-sided deals and I think this is a pretty good deal for both of us. I like Deni, but my roster's win now so needed another C eligible guy, the huge 3s is big too obviously

Yeah, honestly I like the Deni side better. If you desperately need 3s I understand but I expect Deni to be more of a multi cat guy, maybe even this year.

I dunno, I think this is just a classic potential for known quantity player. I don't think Deni will be particularly notable this year but again I like that it looks like Washington is very high on him.

Another part of the reason I moved Bertans was because I saw that, at least this year, it looked like a lot of the players taken in the 2nd round were kinda decent players so I know in addition to getting a potential long term piece in Deni, that there are going to be players available in next year's FA draft that I'll want to get.

I declare victory in the Dynasty League. I demand we cancel the rest of the season.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Rockets/Thunder postponed. This season is going to be a mess.

Between Dynasty and Premier I only have John Wall though, so thankfully not too affected.

What's funny is I wasn't particularly high on either Okoro or Hunter as prospects and I didn't know who Quickley was before last week lol

But opportunity is everything and it looks like both Okoro and Hunter are going to start and as guys picked that high their teams are going to give them every shot to live up to that.

Sure, those guys will play a lot but to me they seem like guys who will be better players than they will be fantasy players. Though Okoro should have a high FG% if he just mostly takes it to the rim and if his 3 pt shot is there then he could hit 3s and might get some steals and blocks, but IIRC he wasn't a big steal/block guy...probably didn't chase those as much as just staying in front of his guy and not gambling. And for now they have really good rebounding bigs..I don't think Okoro or Hunter big assist guys. But they may end up solid players. Okoro did look really good in that first game...at least the 4th qtr.

Of course Hunter and Okoro were higher draft picks than any of my rookies though so I probably shouldn't be talking.

Well I guess, but Bertans is just a 3 pt shooter while Deni is a high draft pick/cornerstone type of player. Heck, he's already starting in his first game with Bertans coming off the bench.
