Great player. Explosive, skilled, scorer.
May be him the ROY

He does look poised and confident, though the Hornets guards (especially LaMelo) aren't exactly the best gauge of his abilities under pressure, though he's looked really good this preseason.

I like Cole. I think he's definitely one of those guys who I wouldn't be surprised is better in the pros than in college.
Brian Geltzeiler: You see Mark Jackson getting a head coaching job as early as next year?

Adrian Wojnarowski: Not if people make calls on him. Not if an organization is doing their homework and knows all the things he brings with him.

[Yes, I know he's getting crazy hype which can be annoying, still doesn't make the above any less true.]

Yet I keep hearing Allstar and that he's a good defender. Jeebus

Facu Campazzo looks to be a rotation player, and Bol and Nnaji are competing for rotation minutes with Green for the Nuggets so 2 of the 3 have a chance.

I thought this would be the year where the Nuggets start to funnel a little more minutes to Bol Bol. He just seems to impact the game whenever he's in there.

Yup. Looking better than Edwards. But you guys had KAT and Wiseman pairing seems like it either fail terribly or make Rosas look like a genius lol.

Wiseman fast enough to be called a PF.

Wiseman looked decent to me, which I had no expectation at all since we didn't see him in preseason. Obviously like every rookie looked nervous and timid at times, but as the game went on it seemed like he was starting to figure out where he could score on the floor. I think he has the skillset to be really good in the league, but sort of want to see how he does more against rotation players over the course of the season as he scored a lot of his points versus the deep bench of the Nets.

Rosas is obsessed with small-ball; he's trying to run this team with Jake Layman as the starting PF. We have a million guards and one legit big. We're playing PF "by committee." In the meantime, Wiseman just plops in the Warriors' lap. So dumb.

I don't care who in that duo plays the PF slot; a Kat-Wiseman pairing makes more sense than a Kat-parade of scrubs pairing.

The Nuggets have not funneled a player minutes in a very long time. If a young player wants minutes they have to earn them. Right now Bol is competing with Nnaji, Green, and Hartenstein for backup big minutes, 2 of the 4 will get rotation minutes. The Nuggets are still a very young team that was just in the conference finals, so I would say their system works better than just handing guys guaranteed minutes.

If you asked me if Wiseman look like either like an elite athlete or a big clumsy big, I would say yes.

Good point. Both things can be true but we do live in the all or nothing era. People usually look for reasons to hate or disregard everything positive about a player they dislike.

When Wiseman got the rebound and dribbled quickly down the floor for a dunk but was called for a charge was impressive. Overall he reminds me of a bigger, stronger version of Chris Bosh

For a kid who played next to no basketball beyond high school and didn't have summer league/preseason I thought wiseman looked solid. Someone needs to hammer that early 2000s long 2 out of his head tho  take 2 steps back man!

Giant Chris Bosh is a great comp for Wiseman.

MIN is going to really, really regret not drafting him. Edwards is Dion Waiters redux.

He scored 11 of those 19 points against the 3rd stringers while down 20 points. I don't know how excited I would get over that.
