What exactly are we playing for if not development of the kids. Are we going to the playoffs? Hell nah, there ain't no bad 7th or 8th spot in the East this season. It's going to be either Hawks or Charlotte or Pacers themselves. Look at their roster, they are 10+ times better.

Thibs better start off with Quickly otherwise I'll pass on the whole damn season.

Quickley isn’t going to start till about game 5. It’s a toss up right now between Mitch and Noel.

Its not about Vet vs Rook politics. Its about what makes the team better. Even with IQ on the bench, he has already established ball movement and bench carries it.

I expect the worst but Thibs has been talking up youth more than he ever has. You lose the locker room starting Payton and Noel after IQ and Mitch clearly dominated.

Thibs does not want to feed media narratives. Thats why he keeps saying if youre not in rotation now there's a long season. Its also an advantage for opposing teams to know your lineup early.

It's like they read his tweets from the past month or so and used the general perception of Thibs then wrote it being completely ignorant of the true current state of things and what took place the last two games.

There is zero accountability in sports writing because people can write whatever they want making all sorts of assertions but when they are completely wrong it's...welp, on to the next bullchit assertion. :lol:

We gain nothing the other team loses nothing. It’s pointless. Probably driven by the state of flux our organization remains in as new management / coaching is trying to map a plan out. As the season progresses, this likely won’t happen often unless injuries.
