The solution to the Harden situation should be straightforward.

He does not get paid. He also is suspended for the league for a certain time (no trades possible, no team can sign him on a contract). After the suspension is over, he either serves the remainder of his contract, or he is suspended again.

Yikes....

I dont care how good he is when hes right... That guy is a ticking time bomb. Philly must be licking their chops watching his stock fall.

Yea this is bad news for MKE overall. He's going to end up on BKN and Philly and that team immediately becomes clear cut favorite over MKE. Whereas right now it's us and BKN about even. Even if a more surprise one like Miami gets him it's still bad. You know he's going to the East.

Outside the box idea. Knicks get him and let him just go nuts in MSG. Yea they're not good enough around him but maybe he'd be cool with it for the spotlight of NY and nightlife He'd be good enough to get them to the playoffs and then maybe can get someone to join next year. This of course would need his value to keep dropping and those contenders not paying up and/or dealing with the possible headache issues.

Similarly to the Knicks idea, I've been waiting a long time for Hambone to combine some of those young pieces that don't really fit together to try to become more than just an 8 seed.

Or for Chicago to make a play like that to try to start creating less of a laughing stock image around the league. Something built around LaVine and Markkanen for example could theoretically be doable if Houston likes them.

I thought New Orleans was a wildcard Harden spot purely on their ability to put together a appealing trade package and pairing him and Zion makes some sense on the court.

But I don't know if it's wise to put James Harden the person with Zion or close to Burbon Street.

For the same reasons Denver should run away from James Harden, NOLA should too. Don't need that **** around any of their young talent.

If Harden gets traded to the Knicks he can still party with Durant and Kyrie.

Not sure whether they can put together a competitive package but he definitely seems like a Dolan guy.

If Jacksonville gets Lawrence the talk around it won't be about where he wants to be after his rookie contract is up, like it involved with Zion. NBA has a lot of things going for it (and things against the NFL) long term with how it can close the gap with the NFL, but this big thing needs to be addressed or they're never going get even close to catching them. Same applies to this Harden/AD type situations. Sure, it happens occasionally in the NFL but it's rare and one player doesn't have same importance (think LaVeon Bell) like it does in the NBA.

This is a great point. Imagine Green Bay the last 30 years with NBA media trying to get Rodgers and Favre out of town.

They desperately need a creator/playmaker to help run an offense from that position.

Not really - their forwards can run the offense.

Neither of them have the instincts as shown only a few months ago.

Rockets should be forced to forfeit imo. League gotta be strict.

Harden is a great player, but can’t say for certain I could ever root for him on the Bucks (if that ever happened).

I think if something like this happens due to a blatant violation of the policies, then yeah, they should forfeit. That obviously applies to Harden. It sounds like the real reason the game is being postponed is just sheer dumb luck on the part of a bunch of Rockets players. They went to a players house to get haircuts and believed the whole team was negative and just got unlucky.

Of course we don’t know where the one player got it from though.

Yeah the Kevin Huerter perfectly ok backup shooting guard role was already covered too.

I guess you're a "can't win without an elite PG" guy. That's been proven to be incorrect.

No I'm a Clippers will find it harder to win without a playmaker/creator guy at guard.
