Zach Lowe: Why Kawhi’s negative culture didn’t surface in Toronto?

Van Gundy: “Let’s be fair, if the ball bounced out vs 76ers and if all the GSW injuries didn’t happen, the grumbling would be much louder. They benefited greatly from good fortune & luck, you have to acknowledge that.”

Translation: We got lucky. Some people just can't let it go.

And you can't seem to let go of the victim-conspiracy mentality. You failed to mention that Van Gundy also said that every NBA champion in history had fortune and luck on their side (along with a great team, of course).

LMAO. His argument could be applied to virtually everything. Low IQ semantics.

Ibaka has looked amazing. Even better than last year. You can tell he's been working his ass in the gym. One of the only players to look even fitter than before covid and his post moves look sharper and quicker.

He's gonna have a good season. Just sucks that he softens my joy in seeing the clippers fail lol

I would be down with bringing back Derozan to come off the bench next season. Of course for a reduced amount but he could bring a solid scoring punch we need and improve the locker room. With less pressure he might even perform better.
Ska needs to make a comeback.

Would DeMar even want to come back? And imagine if the Raptors were to trade him again in the future.

To play with Kyle again, he would come back. Especially how much Pascal, FVV, Norm, etc. love the guy.

But you're right, they couldn't trade him again. It would have to be a Udonis Haslem type deal.

Yeah for sure to no trading him twice. But then the next question is how much? DeMar is putting up numbers and will expect to cash in. NN would have to protect the team from his defense similar to how Pop's does. Will he be worth the money?

Something I never thought of till reading your post; maybe DeMar and Kyle join up on a different team.

Terrence Ross signed a 4 year / $54,000,000 contract with Orlando.
that's one player Masai was definitely not wrong about when gave him another contract back in 2016.

TRoss has actually been terrific this year. He's killing it again tonight. He might finally be ready to have one season where he reaches his potential.

its just that early season energy. everything will fall down to his averages

just wait until he starts throwing bricks very soon. inconsistent af and raptor fans will always measure him up to drummond because thats who we passed up on.
i miss the days when the bricks was only nineteeeeeeeen, i need a 100 right now

Return to Toronto Raptors
