Fi?
Oturu?
Discuss.
Fi needs to be ahead of Patterson who played about 20 mins. His shot looked off and he’s so slow getting up and down the floor

Zu got 28 minutes @+17, Ibaka 21 minutes @minus-8.
Zu was the only one who showed up in shape for The Bubble and the only one who exceeded expectations. Man, did he run the floor tonight!
But you gotta give Trez his due too. 17-10-3 on 6-7 shooting. Those are real numbers. I never dissed Zu--it was that Trez earned his stripes and his PT and his 6MOY and neither can play the 4.
I may have missed it--did Ibaka and Zu play together tonight?
Trez may have had a good night on offense but he blew most of his defensive assignments and was always out of place.
I hear you but there are 4 other guys out on the floor. Trez will never be the defensive QB like DeAndre fashioned himself to be. Indeed, Trez will NEVER make $20M a year like DJ did.
17-10-3 on 6-7 shooting. Those are real numbers. DJ did that one or twice.

I liked what Batum did there, Leonard wanted the iso on Harrell, but he directed him and forced the switch to get him on a smaller defender. That's the kind of smart ball handler play that the team needs.

Hope Laker fans are mentally prepared for the Trez experience every time they play a team with skilled bigs.
nickhx2 wrote:you could tell that batum was just "gluey." funny when you think about how this team's been searching for that guy for years and years, and now we actually kinda have one who will seemingly provide us with that, and on a min contract, too!
i liked what i saw from kennard. i think he'll really show us some strong impact once he gets more comfortable (first game with a brand new team, in case anyone was expecting him to just drop 16/4/4 like it was nothing).
i think moving lou probably is for the best, assuming we pick up george hill for him. but he's still a good player and the bench defense isn't as abysmal since harrell is gone. we can make it work and maybe he'll bring out the best in zubac.

And the Clippers were +24 when both Zu and Trez were on the court together. I really appreciate him keeping his subpar play going

Trezz finished only at minus-3 which means he was plus+21 head to-head against Ibaka? Show us your math. I'm not really interested in debating haters and punks. Trezz is gone now. If Ibaka got his ass kicked that's a concern.

I like how you say "only minus-3" like being negative isn't that bad if it's just three. He was still a net negative on the court.
And of course you aren't interested because you are mad that Trez got thoroughly outplayed by Zu and don't want to also admit what a HUGE addition by subtraction the move was.
Trez is nothing more than an energy guy that can score but does nothing else that well. And even then, when it comes to scoring, he has a small repertoire. He's also a net negative on the court since he can't slow down anyone on a consistent basis.
Like a Jamal Crawford of bigs, but at least Jamal had more than one skill set.
