We need Joshua Harris to spend some of those billions on a hit squad to go kidnap Chip Engellund or whoever the NO shooting coach is.

Wiseman looking good so far. Still early. Warriors opting him to defend Giannis

Will the Warriors even be in the play-in games? Steph is an all timer, but I don't think he can be a Harden-esk, 40% usage, 1 man band, and that's what they would need with this awful cast.

Like I said before, are we sure Bob Myers is even good?

That said, a package headlined Wiseman (his skill package looks legit), Minny 1st, and some more picks on top of that feels like a pretty decent return if they got in the Harden race.

And him staying out West would be nice

Can't tell anymore. Drafting Klay Thompson and Draymond made him look like a genius. But he's lost something. The Wiggins trade was a fire-able offense and trading a pick for Kelly Ubre, in their tax situation, was a ridiculous decision that I'm dumbfounded the owners Ok'd.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

He went from a guy that went after winning players like Iguodala, Bogut, passing up on paying guys like Barnes and managing to bring in KD... To going after Russell, Wiggins and Oubre.

I'm sure they were expecting those contracts they gave out to look ugly at some point, but I can't imagine they thought it would be this soon.

That said, he did put together arguably the greatest team of all time, so :dontknow:

You see in sports sometimes a lot of GMs go through lull periods. You see it with Schneider with the Seahawks where he drafted Wilson and built the legion of boom, and then went through a lull period where he had a lot of crap, but then bounced back again with some new good players.

I think Myers is good.

After two games? Everyone expects them to be really good but do people really expect a Kyrie and Durant led team to actually win anything? Neither can really stay healthy and both haven't won anything without Lebron in Kyries case and a team being super stacked in Durants case.

He's not. Made one lucky pick of Draymond with a high 2nd rounder in 2012. The previous GM Larry Riley drafted Steph and Klay.

Loading down the roster with busts and headcases like Wiggins, Oubre, and Chriss is a total disgrace. Pissed away tons of picks also.

Yeah. They obviously look great so far, but there's all kinds of opportunities for injuries and drama to derail that team.

Definitely. Roster wise they're clear of any other East team. Absurd depth, shooting and defending + two all world talents that can score on command. Injuries for sure are a wildcard.

I dunno about the defending aspect, but they look very good.

being a gm is hard.

My guess is that Myers bet on someone biting on Wiggins and a top pick...and no one did.

That's kinda the position he put himself in the D'angelo too. Grabbed him knowing full well he had zero chance of working with Curry, thinking he could flip him... And ends up with Wiggins and a pick.

At the same time, if they had a healthy Klay, it's a different story, and not many teams can survive a season with their star 2nd player hurt.
