Tough stuff, but that's the way it's going to be. You can't play up on him at the 3 pt line or he will be shooting free throws. Therefore, you have to play off him and let him shoot, and hope he misses.

If all prime FAs are off the market, would you tender an offer to Ball? He's a quality defender, rebounder, and passer. We excel in player shot development. Could be good?
