Anyone here going to watch LeBron this season with a different appreciation? I've had the fortune of watching LeBron's whole career. Even including the High School games they telecasted on ESPN. Hell I even remember first reading up about him when Sports Illustrated had him on the cover as a 16 year old. I've been blessed to watch the whole journey of LeBron. The ups, the downs, ups, more downs, and even more ups.

Looking back at it all, I haven't had the opportunity to truly appreciate it all. He is going to be 36 years old this season. He can't be on top forever. He can't be King James forever. He only has a few years left in his career and even fewer as the top dog. Because of that, I just want to enjoy watching prime LeBron this season. I know it won't last, but as long as he is on top, I know I'm getting a hell of performance from him night in and night out.

Gotta get another center on this team man. Gasol isn't gonna to reverse in age and he's looked like this ever since the beginning of the bubble.

This game has preseason-like intensity so far. Dallas' defense is embarrassing.

LeBron really not hesitating in taking the J so far this season. Good to see that.

Sucks that he injured his ankle against the Clippers and is clearly moving gingerly out there. He looked terrific in the preseason otherwise.

Already 4 attempted threes after 8 in 28 minutes last game. Nice to see him looking for it.

Fantastic playmaking so far in this game too. Luka looks like he spent the offseason on his couch which is really disappointing

Thoughts so far:

AD is still a beast and its great to see his jumper working

I hope Lebrons jumper or at least his 3 pointer stays around 2017-2018 range or even his miami days. Looking good so far

Schroeder has been great on offense and looks good defensively from what I can tell, pesky

Gasol has been awful so far, maybe working himself into shape

Trez has looked ok on defense, not a sieve so far

Wes has been useless it feels like as a DG replacement

The offense was obvious but wtf his defense is even better than expected

Hes been really good at staying in front of his man on those switches to allow the help to come in, unlike rondo who rolled over

Harrell's defense is probably fine

LeBron looks good out there. He looked good against the Clips playing at like 30% capacity.

Matthews would be more useful starting next to James. Maybe either him or Caruso and then sub in Schroeder when James sits in the first quarter. But if Schroeder can play this type of defense and shoot well, will be hard to keep him off the court.

Lakers offense looks to have a higher sustained ceiling with the three point shots they can create and 10 players who can shoot (everyone except Trez).

They will be awfully difficult to defeat in a seven game series if healthy.

be honest, how many of you knew Schroder's defense was this good. Isn't even out of place guarding bigger players

Hows matthews defense been? You dont expect him to be as good as green because of the upgrade of schroder from rondo tbh

It's not gonna take much effort for this team to beat up on bottom feeders. Never sweated against a solid Mavs team.

Schroder is really good. And Trezz manages to put points up on the board no matter what.
