If a prime OKC pre major-injury Kevin Durant with a prime Russell Westbrook as his side kick couldn't lead a team to jack **** (hence why he had to join a 73 win team). A team lead by a 32 year old Kevin Durant coming off a busted achillies with Mr flat earth locker room cancer as his side kick just doesn't strike fear in me as a Bucks fan.

Yeah I get it, the Nets off to a nice start and I think they'll be have a nice season, but people acting like they're the new standard of excellence in the east that no one can match is **** hilarious.

They have amazing depth, is all. LeVert would walk into our starting lineup and Allen would start most places around the league. And '32 year old Kevin Durant coming off a busted achillies' looks exactly the same as healthy prime Kevin Durant lol..

The Lakers still have easily the best 1-2 in the league though, and the best depth with Morris, Harell, Kuzma, Caruso, Matthews.

Like, we ended up with a pretty nice bench but they'll get blown away against what the Nets and Lakers have.

But Durant and Westbrook did go to the Finals and were up 1-0 to one of the greatest teams ever.

Ugh the Nets look good already. I was hoping they'd at least have a slow start. They have more talent and they will have the refs, not good.

Seems like with our bench, we’ll have to hope that the outlier shooting gods smile down upon us for once instead of going the other way. Pretty much all our bench guys are capable of getting hot and we’ll probably need it to win a title this year.

It seems ass backwards when Harden can play tonight while half the team is forced to sit for "health and safety" reasons.

I said at the end of last year the MVP is Luka’s to lose this year and I was like 99% chance he wins it if he stays healthy. The problem is that Giannis could play as well as he did last year and he won’t be in the conversation. The national narrative (I hate that word btw) around him is all about how much he chokes, can’t shoot, can’t make FT’s, and can’t beat the wall. KD if healthy will also be ahead of him in voting. For Giannis to win it he’d have to average like 35 PPG and get his FT % way up. Basically Giannis has to be better than Luka, KD, and Bron by a mile or he won’t get near as many votes. Remember that last years MVP vote took place before the playoffs and voters really gave him the inexperience card when thinking about our loss to Toronto. After 2 playoff exits the shine of Giannis has worn way off for national voters. I don’t care if he wins MVP ever again as long as he gets us a ring. 8-)

Lol at the continued Levert love.

I would bet a **** ton of money on the Bucks in a series against the Nets. They won't play anyway. Nets won't win a series in the playoffs.

From the sound of it, Bud is actually gonna play these guys heavy minutes when it matters, or at least Giannis has made it clear to him he needs to. All that Brooklyn/LA depth won’t matter when it’s 7-8 dudes playing in June. We just need like 1 or 2 more reliable guys. I feel okay about Augustin, though I know many don’t. Play the buyout market right and round out the top 8 and that’s all that matters.

LeVert is insanely overrated btw.

First five minutes of Hawks vs Grizzlies is UGLY, it's just three after three after three.

The Bucks completely stumbled into not trading Donte and it could wind up being one of the best moves of the Bud/Giannis era lol.

Just so I'm understanding you, you're saying in Durant's last OKC year he was better than Giannis was a few months ago?

In the playoffs? Yes, for as bad as Durant was by his standards in the 16 playoffs he was still better than Giannis against Miami. I really don't care about their first round matchups but Durant against SAS/GSW (massively tougher opponents than Miami btw) > Giannis against Miami.

If you're going to use Miami as a big example of Giannis's play, you may want to let people know that Giannis played in 3 of the five games, missing two. Hardly a good example. Nonetheless , he didn't play well, but I give all the blame (except free throw shooting) to Bud. He continually had Giannis shoot threes and drive into the wall. Bud knew it was coming, yet still had Giannis do the same thing over and over. Some of you may think that Giannis is a lone wolf doing his own thing, but everything points to Bud coaching him to do just what he is doing.
It's the same on defense. Keep doing the same thing no matter whether it works or not. And in the bubble, and the last two playoffs, this defense has been shredded.

Honestly they should've just balked at dealing Donte altogether. They still could've made a deal, when Atlanta had to send nothing. That makes it all the worse. Horst has to learn to negotiate better on behalf of himself.
