I think fitness/athleticism for KD will be at peak right now with the fresh legs after 18 months off. He's as healthy as he's probably been for a long time right now. As the season goes on the ligaments get a little looser, the inflammation starts picking up and the limitations on movement will increase and the risk of injury will be enhanced. It's not just damage of the achilles that was a concern with KD, it's the predisposition of wear and tear that led to the achilles.

I don't think the Nets get to the conference finals tbh.

I think the Nets are a lock for the finals. All the other eastern teams are crazy underwhelming despite being starstudded. The Nets have two players whose shot are really only impacted by the law of averages being boosted by a good offensive system. Lakers may look better in the playoffs because contrary to what people say, Lebron excels in controlling half court playoff grind it out tempo.

I think it is far more likely that they get bounced in first two rounds. You have to remember that both Irving and Durant are injury prone and we are having an intense season schedule this year. I think there's a 50% chance one gets injured for playoffs and a 20% chance that current team chemistry erodes. So that's about a 60% chance they don't make the finals by my estimate.

If we're factoring injury then yes I'm half expecting one of KD or Kyrie to not finish the 20/21 season

Well I expect a lot of load management for Kyrie and Durant this year, they have a deep enough team to still win games even if they miss games or are on minutes restrictions.

Lebron's probable means will definitely play. The guy likes basketball too much. He's not sitting games over niggles. Would be surprised if he misses more than 6 games this season

Wolves are no joke. Don't think that's an easy win

I don't see the Nets beating the Bucks. Kyrie usually struggles against their length and Giannis' half-court foibles will be easier to mask against the Nets defense than it was against the Heat.

Agree. Also, I think he feels he’s in good enough shape and has enough in the tank to obliterate all time totals and make sure nobody sometime soon reaches them.

I think it will be Kuzma....Maybe this is just a load management for Davis and that he will be available tomorrow against the Trail Blazers

Wolves have one of the worst PF rotations in the league so this should be okay

Probably. Pretty sure they rest James tomorrow.

KD hasn't lost his shot but has definitely lost a bit on his drives. AD might actually be able to stay in front of him with ease with the length to contest his pullups

Honestly, Kyrie has been looking a bit more unstoppable so far this season. He looks really good, like peak form.

LeBron looks heavy. Even more so than in the bubble where I thought he looked heavier than in the regular season prior to the break. Does it look that way to anyone else?

Kuz with shot opportunities is a good player.

Are you watching on NBATV? They stretch the aspect ratio to make room for the ticker at the bottom. He doesn't look any different than last year's regular season to me
