Well that shuts up the fake crowd noise.

Wish we'd have given that shot to Poku.

Shai game winner tube future is now
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

I'm ready to write poku off for at least 3 years

So there was this moment when Poku made back to back stellar defensive plays followed by two missed wide-open corner threes. I felt bad.

Agreed but I think it’s good for Shai. He gets the confidence builder of a game winner but also knows his missed free throws and turnovers are part reason for the comeback

SGA was glooming that shot. I think he understands business enough.

I think the Thunder tried to lose this game.

I think he would be better off watching film, lifting weights and learning how to shoot before he gets back on the court.

Overall: Thunder D seems honest and the sophomores and veterans performed according to expectations. This season, I have seen playoffs teams playing worse than the Thunder did on debut. The offense implemented nice concepts but was poorly executed.

Bazley was very impressive and looks like a fine scorer. I'd like to see him having the ball on mid-post more often. Want to see that face-up game showing up.

In my opinion, the two most encouraging plays were by Theo Maledon. A beautiful assist to Muscala, and a rare concentration fast break steal.

Players don't tank. And if your taking strategy is having the other team make 5 straight threes in 40 seconds that's a bad gameplan

Well, they were turning the ball over like they didn't care, I'm sure you saw that too.

It's a shame there probably won't be a D League season this year, because the dude could use it. Hopefully someone on the team is at least mentoring him. He looked like he was really beating himself up over on the bench when he was taken out after front rimming yet another three.

Really liked Baze tonight. Dude just looks different. There's a confidence and self assuredness that was formerly lacking. Also he looks weirdly pumped already. I think in a couple more years he's going to be pretty stout.

Speaking of stout, Lu Dort also looked like his old self. Still can't shoot from outside to save his life but he does everything else. The guy might end up the closest thing to Tony Allen in almost every way the league has seen since T.A. retired.

To be clear, my "how silly" post was in relation to the last 2 minutes of the game, not your poku write off.

I dont know how great bazley will be at any one particular skill but I think he can be above average to good at most things.

I kind of like this Keinrich Williams guy by the way. He works hard. Also his hair is mind blowing to me. Anyone with the self confidence to rock that do can't be all bad.

I've never seen a mullet on a black guy before. It's like when Ron Swanson got corn rows in parks and rec. I'm not sure what to make of it.

One thing we don't talk about much is that it seems Shai is pretty happy being here at the moment. Not something to take for granted.
