So like many I've been watching the holiday classics, and when watching Die Hard I remembered how my dad's only taken my brother and I to three movies. One was Die Hard With a Vengeance when I was 14 and my brother was 12, another was Home Alone, and the last was Rambo 3 when I was 7.

Soul successfully washed away the bad WW84 vibe. Easily an upper tier Pixar movie (might be my favorite), and in the running for best movie of the year.

My friends were hyping this up to me but it totally blew me away. I can’t remember the last time, if ever, that a movie resonated with me as much as Soul did. Not to mention it’s visually gorgeous.

I enjoyed “Soul,” also. Not a perfect movie, but pretty groundbreaking in the way (for a mainstream movie) it handled a few relationships and dynamics I have never seen handled so honestly and positively. Its also a really timely message in a pandemic.. to find your ultimate delight in the moment. Maybe most impressive, it made jazz seem cool and accessible.

Yeah it's been talked about how Christopher Nolan did it on purpose and has done it in other movies (Dunkirk makes sense). It seems to me like he is a conceited d bag. I'm not sure if he always was or has become a bigger one. I haven't seen Tenet yet, but a friend saw it in the theater and to quote him, he said "It was probably good." He said this in all seriousness, but I was cracking up even though I understood what he meant that he likes previous movies of Nolan, but couldn't understand the dialogue because it was so quiet. I'll make sure to have subtitles on when I watch it.

I feel like the Venn diagram of "Great DS9 Episodes" and "Episodes featuring Garak" has a hell of a lot of overlap. That character must have been a genuine joy for the writers, and Andrew Robinson's performance is always outstanding.

Easily one of top 5 favourite Star Trek characters.

I know a lot of people don't really find the Tim & Eric stuff funny, but they're wrong, and Tom Goes to the Mayor is a masterpiece of comedy/animated television.

They have the Check It Out! with Scott Clam episode too! Just an unbelievable 11 minutes of TV that has been hard to find.

I don't know if any of you watch Vikings on the History channel but the final 10 episodes have dropped on Prime. I'm not sure why they dropped there and if they will subsequently be on History as all the others have been. I've enjoyed this show for the most part.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

did anybody watch the Euphoria holiday special or the Heaven's Gate documentary on HBO? I was a little let down with the doc, but it definitely had some poignant scenes. The Euphoria special was excellent, and I am now such a fan of whoever plays her sponsor, what an actor that guy is

I watched the Heavens Gate doc and knew a bit about the cult before I watched. I was thinking about Ti & Do the day after I finished the doc and got the shivers.

I signed up for a seven day trial of Discover+ (ad free) and as a Food Network junky I think this might be the best streaming service out there.

Don’t know if you guys have talked about kobra Kai but it’s becoming my favorite show on tv. The mix of cheeseyness, comedy, 80s nostalgia, characters coming back from the original and yes even the karate is awesome

For anyone with showtime, Your Honor(Bryan Cranston) has been a phenomenal drama show through the first half of the season.

The second season dipped pretty hard but I hear the third season is a rebound.
